Chen glared while he snapped his head at jehyun who stood behind him with his arms crossed. he rolled his eyes. ❝thanks for the obvious hyun❞

there were times Jehyun prayed Joshua was with them. that way he could hit Chen with the reality. the reality in which he went too far with Jin a while ago.

speaking of Jin, the half-Chinese laid unconscious in one of the infirmary beds of the camp. Jin looked pale which alarms the two best friends as they only saw Jin like this once. and it was an experience they wanted to forget.

❝he'll kill us once he learns about this chen❞ Jehyun kept his voice low, almost a whisper. he was scared someone would eavesdrop on their conversation.

❝you don't think I know that hyun? I know he'll chop my head off by the time he wakes up ❞ Chen retorted, a guilty look on his face while he looked at the contact he dialed minutes ago. ❝should we just say not to come? ❞

❝Chen, I hope you realized who you're talking about. he could be here any—❞

❝is Jin ok ?! ❞

❝what the hell hiro!? let go of my collar! ❞

the two friends turned to hiro and brazen who burst open the infirmary doors. hiro was dragging brazen by his collar(nothing new) but what sparked Chen and Jehyun's interest was the worried look the Japanese had while staring at Jin.

❝who did it? ❞

both of them shivered as hiro turned his heads towards them with a glare, killing them with it. they quickly raised their arms up in defense . ❝not me! ❞ they then resorted to point at each other.

❝you were the one that triggered him! ❞

❝you were the one who didn't stop us! ❞

❝and end up falling into the lake because of a slap? no thanks! ❞

hiro eyed the two, irritation clear in his eyes he wanted so badly to hit them but kept his cool. Jake nagged at him about his temper and reminded that when he comes to infirmary he would only ask what happened. he turned to brazen who was busy fixing his collar. ❝stop them❞

❝what? ❞ eyeing the younger, brazen followed what hiro was gesturing with his head. his eyes landed on the bickering duo who went back and forth on who was at fault. ❝oh... ❞

brazen, just like his name, got a quite brazen idea. he walked up to the two unsuspecting and still bickering duo before bringing up his hand to their foreheads before....

❝ouch! ❞

❝ah what the duck?! ❞

the duo held there foreheads, hissing at the stinging pain. they had their eyes closed but peeked open one to look at brazen who was laughing at their pain.

❝what an ass❞ Chen mumbled loud enough for Jehyun to hear. ❝once im—❞

"Chen wang, Jehyun LEE!"

Jehyun and Chen were bowing in front a pair of running shoes. they dared not to look up much more meet the eyes of the person their bowing to. it wasn't that this person was mean, instead this person was strict, especially when it comes to somewhat related family members.

brazen and Hiro eyed the two before letting their eyes trail at the teen (they guessed were close to their age) who looked at the two with disapproval with their arms crossed.

❝I'm not repeating myself. EXPLAIN❞

Jehyun and Chen glanced at each other before scrambling to sit up straight. they then held on to the pants that the person wore.

❝we're sorry❞

❝we didn't mean it! we swear! ❞

the person puckered his lips, eyes rolling in sarcasm before stomping his foot, shaking Chen in the process. ❝will you two get up? Hades you're embarrassing me❞

the two best friends shared looks before pushing each other to get up. once they were all up and straight, they showed the person puppy dog eyes which made the person fake a gag.

❝Hades don't do that❞

❝it would be nice if you introduce us to him❞ hiro said from the back with brazen nodding his head in agreement. ❝and why he's here❞

❝oh...❞ Chen looked back and forth at them before hitting his forehead in realization. right, no one knew who this person was. ❝well.. uh... Junghoon meet hiro and the guy who looks like an ape is brazen. brazen, hiro meet Junghoon... Jin cousin's cousin... and Jin's legal guardian? ❞

Chen want that sure about the guardian part. all he knows is that Jin is staying with Junghoon'S family as of the time being.

Junghoon waved at the two boys before giving Chen a serious look, scaring the butterfly in the process. he knew Chen was dead once Jin woke up. ❝you do realize he's going to kill you right? ❞

❝why do you always remind me? ❞ Chen pouted before sitting on the ground. ❝I'm well aware he would decapitate me so I came to the conclusion that I would savor the moment he is still unconscious and the twenty seconds my head has once it is away from my body❞

Junghoon took a deep breath. he should keep his cool. he is the oldest as of the moment. ❝Chen, he isn't going to kill you if you explain ❞

Chen playfully rolled his eyes. ❝what do you know? you weren't there when he almost strangled me to death back in freshman year high school❞

❝that was because you wouldn't stop annoying him to join you during the open school fair❞ Jehyun explained From the side. ❝he wasn't the only person who wanted to strangle you. that one kid from the school across ours also did❞

Chen waved his hand dismissively. ❝please that kid was saltly that he couldn't beat me in bottle pop❞

❝no❞ Jehyun shook his head, ❝you couldn't accept the fact that he beated you thus resulting to an almost bloody fight between the two of you and possibly school war 3❞

❝why is our conversation about high school when I asked it to answer why this mutt is here? ❞

hiro didn't even flinch much more give a reaction once the three turned towards him. he crossed his arms and raised a brow. ❝well? ❞

Junghoon cleared his throat, somewhat intimidated by the younger. ❝well... Jeonghoon told me to stay here until Jin's stay ends❞
