Chapter 68 : Bold Move?

Hearing Kazuhiko's words, everyone else wore satisfied smiles.

"Kazuhiko, you have your own vision for the future of the Land of Whirlpools. From now on, the fate of our entire nation rests upon your shoulders!"

"We all have faith that under your guidance, the Land of Whirlpools will undoubtedly astonish the entire ninja world!"

The elders standing to the side nodded in agreement. With Kazuhiko as their Clan Head, they were confident that the Land of Whirlpools would flourish and grow stronger.

Kazuhiko hadn't expected to become the clan head so quickly. He had thought he would have to wait a while longer. He had even pondered whether he should subtly encourage the current Clan Head to step down.

However, much to his surprise, just a few days after the incident with Kirigakure had been resolved, the Clan Head, Kiyoshi had announced his resignation. 

This allowed Kazuhiko to assume the role of the new Clan Head, a decision for which he felt deeply grateful. After all, relinquishing power was never an easy task.

The imbalance in resource distribution among major powers was a symptom of this problem. Small nations, caught between the major powers, suffered in this arrangement.

Kazuhiko believed that as long as this fundamental issue remained unresolved, war would continue to plague the ninja world, no matter how much time passed. 

Temporary peace might be maintained by a savior, but once they were gone, war would inevitably return, much like the time before the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama.

Kazuhiko had long been contemplating a solution, and he disagreed with the system established by Senju Hashirama, where each country had a single ninja village. History had shown him that this system was flawed and would only lead to more significant conflicts.

Presently, Kazuhiko was not only the Clan Head of the Uzumaki clan but also the sole heir of the Daimyo of the Land of Whirlpools. He held immense influence, not just within the Land of Whirlpools but also within the ninja village, Uzushiogakure.

In the Land of Whirlpools, he was the undisputed ruler, and he now possessed the power to reshape everything that had been established before.

Although this was possible before, it lacked legitimacy and smooth execution. Now, he intended to legitimize his authority and take the lead.

Kazuhiko gazed at the elders and the former Clan Head, now the new law enforcement elder, Uzumaki Kiyoshi, with utmost seriousness. He spoke with conviction:

"If you all accept me as your clan head, the Land of Whirlpools will be under my complete governance. Can you pledge full allegiance to me and carry out my directives without reservation?"

The elders nodded solemnly, "Clan Head, you have our unwavering loyalty. From this moment forward, you are the sole authority in the Land of Whirlpools, and we will follow your commands faithfully."

The elders adopted the new titles, addressing Kazuhiko as their Clan Head.

Kazuhiko continued:

"My first directive is to dissolve the Uzushiogakure and abandon the one-country, one-village system."

This was a bold move. After all, the one-country, one-village system was a policy established by the God of the Ninja World, and it was prevalent in every major nation.
