The party continued on, and when the day was nearing its end, the time for gift-giving came. 

Since the gifts were given in order of position, Savine's turn was much later on. She was only under the other counts, and Fest's only marquis was not here due to certain reasons.

The gifts of the nobles were quite varied. Aside from the silk rolls, laces, shoes and hats; there were a couple books, a horse, a carriage, and finally, a masterfully crafted strategic board game involving military tactics that included miniature castles, siege weapons, and mages. 

As for Savine's gift, it was one of the new registrars that Savine introduced contained inside a hollow hexagonal prism shaped frame, but the magic embedded inside it was somewhat special. Its only purpose was to create a solid ball of mana that was big enough to be stuck inside the frame. 

"What is this?" Julius couldn't help but ask. 

The duke was also sending suspicious glances at the object.
