In the empty backyard of St Mungo Hospital, two brothers were fighting. One had the look of a crazed wolf while the other radiated the apathy of a prideful line.

"Ah! How dare you! You filthy womaniser!"

Bam!

"How dare you lay your filthy hands on my mother!"

Kapow!

"My mother! My sweet mother! I let you take much of her time to make up for the time you missed and now you are stealing her from me!"

Bam!

"Fuck you! Ha-ah!"

Looking at Charlus stoically was Harry who was receiving his hit silently. The corner of Harry's lip was split, but he was otherwise fine. Charlus looked more dishevelled. One would think it was Charlus who was getting beaten up. Harry found the situation equally humorous and heart-wrenching. He could feel the kid. He would also explode if he were in Charlus' shoes. Nevertheless, he didn't regret laying Lily's pipe.

"How could you, Harry… how could you? She is our mother."

"Technically, she is no longer—"

"You still came out of her vagina!"

"Come on. I am not the only one who has ever been inside her."

"…you sick bastard!"

The beating resumed. Charlus tried his best to hurt Harry to no avail. Harry's body was too strong for him to hurt. His years of physical training amounted to nothing before Harry's formidable physique. In the end, he got tired and fell to the ground, crying in a fetal position.

Harry looked at the poor boy and wondered what he should do. He turned to Lily who was watching from the sideline in worry. The look she gave him told him she was equally flustered. Harry sighed before kneeling.

"Are you okay now, kid?" Harry asked, recalling his offer to Charlus to make him his punching bag.

"Okay? How am I okay? How would you feel if I revealed I had been fucking Fleur all this time!?" Charlus spat.

"If that was her choice, I would be disappointed but wouldn't behave pathetically like you. However, you would lose your head if you had forced yourself on her," Harry answered seriously. "Anyway, why are you comparing your mother to someone's girlfriend? It's not a fair comparison."

"Hah! To whom should I compare her then? Your Mum?" Charlus scoffed.

"Heh. Touche."

"…"

Charlus pulled on his hair and tossed and turned on the ground. He wanted to kill Harry but knew it would only make his mother sad. He was so bitter and angry that he didn't know what to do. Eventually, he made a decision.

"There is an older student who has been begging for my attention. I will fuck her."

"Charlus!"

"You! Shut up! Sorry, just… don't lecture me, Mum. I don't respect you enough to listen to you right now. Only sex can calm me down."

Charlus stood up and looked down at Harry. He kneed Harry's face, bending his nose slightly. Without a single word, he left the backyard. Harry healed his broken nose and calmed Lily down who had rushed over to check on him. His eyes lay on Charlus' back. A smirk adorned his face as he knew Charlus was going to catch some snatch.

"He is growing up I tell you."

"Shut up!"

"Now, why are you angry at me? It was your idea to reveal that bit."

"Just say yes, will you?"

"Ah…sure."

Harry wanted to shrug carelessly but ended up hugging the beautiful witch comfortingly. He didn't want to see his flower sad. He did the right thing as Lily's unbridled tears wet his shirt a moment later. He rubbed her back comfortingly, whispering to her everything would be all right and Charlus would come around.

Wait…have I become a father? Oh, shite! I have become a bloody father!

The thought made Harry's legs weak, but Harry pushed through. He couldn't show his weakness before his vulnerable witch… already, he was thinking like a husband.

On the other side of the world, a particular household was getting paid a visit. The atmosphere coating the living room was so thick that you could cut it with a knife. Two Family Heads looked at each other dead in the eye. One was the epitome of calm and the other one was taunting.

"The Dark Lord knows what to do with your daughter's ailment, Greengrass. If you want to save that little spawn of yours, this is the time."

"The cost we might suffer doesn't seem equal to my daughter's life."

"Are you afraid that we are going to lose to Peverell? He is just one man."

"Then, why are you gathering so many forces?"

Lucius Malfoy lost any hint of emotion on his face. His Occlumency shielded his mind, hiding what he felt. Whenever he thought about Harry Peverell, he could only remember his soul-withering eyes. Looking into his eyes felt like looking into hell. The gaze haunted him in his sleep. His fate might have been condemned.

"Naturally, because Peverell could do the same, Greengrass. We are just trying to be careful, as we always do."

"I will aid you in this…feud of yours if you heal my daughter first."

Bang!

Lucius slammed his cane into the floor.

"Shameless! Do you think the Dark Lord is someone you can order around?"

"We are putting everything at stake, Lucius. The Ministry is on high alert. One mention of Death Eaters will get their pants on fire. Associating ourselves with you alone might get us prosecuted. I think what we are asking is reasonable."

"So be it!" Lucius stood up furiously. "Is this what you want? Then, you will get what you want! I, Lucius Malfoy, Head of Noble House Malfoy declare a blood feud against House Greengrass. No one shall be spared. So mote it be!"

Gawain Greengrass, head of House Greengrass widened his eyes in shock. Lucius might be an impulsive person, but he had never been unreasonable. Gawain couldn't believe the overbaked doughnut had just declared Blood Feud against them. The Greengrass had never had anything to do with the silly pureblood supremacy war. And now, they risked perishing in a Blood Feud.

"You lunatic! What have you just done? We don't have anything to do with this!"

"Consider this a vendetta, Greengrass. Good luck surviving the feud."

Lucius sneered before leaving the mansion. Gawain fell back onto the couch, his strength leaving his body. His mind recalled his late wife's last wish. Thanks to Lucius, he might be unable to fulfil her wish. Everything had been fine until Lucius came. Now, Astoria was not the only one whose life was in peril.

My family would join the Dark Lord if he could heal my daughter.

He shouldn't have said those words. He should have accepted the deal. What was he thinking going against the Dark Lord? The Dark Lord would triumph at the end of the day, wouldn't he? Harry Peverell. The young man had slain the Dark Lord. His brother had also killed the Dark Lord when he was a baby. That gave him alight his defiance. But now, he regretted it.

His eyes lay on the picture hanging on the wall. It was of him and his princesses. Daphne had his hair and her mother's face—blonde hair, lovely sapphire eyes, sharp nose, and attractively prominent jaw. Astoria had her mother's hair and his face—black hair, sharp blue eyes, a slightly crooked nose, and a heart-shaped face. He didn't want to lose his daughters.

So, he wrote a letter.

"I, Gawain Greengrass, disown my daughters—Daphne Greengrass and Astoria Greengrass—for reasons I won't disclose…"

Daphne and her sister received the letters three days after they were written. Daphne had just received her award for placing second in the U-16 individual duelling tournament. She was in a festive mood until the letter came. She didn't even register as everyone cheered when Harry received his award for being the champion of the Open individual duelling tournament and the victor of the Triwizard Tournament.

"I would like to apologise to everyone here because of my actions, the awarding ceremony got postponed for a quite long time. I hope you won't hold a grudge against me."

There were laughter and cheers as Harry gave his speech. It was short and meaningless, people listened to it regardless. Dumbledore took the stage when Harry returned to his seat. His eyes landed on Daphne briefly. In the middle of Dumbledore's speech to formally end the year-long event, owls entered the Great Hall and rained it with newspapers.

Blood Feud: Revival of an Old Tradition or a Disaster to the Wizarding World?

The newspapers contained information about the families involved in recent blood feuds. The Peverell had five families declaring Blood Feud against them. The newspapers covered greatly about it as it could mean Peverell had to face twenty families in the feud. The Daily Prophet was wondering whether Harry was arrogant or insane for not getting aid.

Another shocking piece of information was the Blood Feud between House Malfoy and House Greengrass. That came out of nowhere, so some people couldn't help but look at Draco and Greengrass inquiringly. Draco, for the most part, was smirking but also confused. On the other hand, Daphne was looking at Harry emptily.

"These lots are losing their mind," Harry voiced people's opinions on him.
