THE GALA 1

Just the day I've been waiting for since last night has arrived, feeling a little nervous about what the day holds for me I walked into the bathroom for a warm shower to start off the day.

My day has been all about dolling myself up for an event I knew nothing about, I went for a massage, manicure and a salon to get my hair done. Brianna escorted me around, we both looked tired after walking around the city of New York looking for a dress that was impossible to find.

We finally found a hidden designers shop on a street after the long walk, that was were I found 'the perfect dress' according to Brianna. I already got my bag and my stilettos, all I had to do then was go home and rest. When I got back home it was 5pm already "Ah, I have enough time". I laid on the bed quickly so I can prepare for the gala before 9 pm.

I got up by 7pm and that's cause Brianna woke me up to prepare for the event, I walked into the bathroom for a quick shower. "Are all these necessary" I asked Brianna applying make up on my face" You've never been to a gala before have you miss Hazel?". She asked as she applied the red lipstick to my lips.

"No!" I blinked my eyes many times cause I wasn't comfortable with the false lashes on my lashes even if they're short. "These is not an ordinary gala, it's the gala of the richest men and women in the world. Out of a 100, 80% of the people there are multi billioniares. It's the most anticipated event that occur in the Wilson's family after every two years. And I also heard for tonight's gala Mr Wilson himself would be present, in flesh and blood. For the first time since these gala began. Cause he'ld be picking a bride tonight!". She rubbed the powder lightly on my face for finishing.

"Why would he pick a bride tonight what are we the 90s?". I smiled thinking about it. "Rumor has it that he's a ruthless billoniare who was born blind that's why no one's ever seen his true identity!" . She said with so much confidence. Then how come I never saw anything about this on line when I checked, I thought to myself.

"And you know he's turned down so many proposals that's why the moment he agreed to get married to any girl his father picks they decided to celebrate with a gala. That's why this gala is the most special gala of all galas" she picked my black stilettos and wore me.

"I hope you'd be the lucky one miss Hazel!". She smiled "No don't wish me such luck I don't think I need it for now!" . I said to her "Why not? That's every girl's dream you know, even your sisters miss Belle and Diana are preparing for the event!". She got up and arranged my hair perfectly.
