The Coveted Yuri

On her first day living in the mansion, Yuri encountered Nero and Tuss's father, whom she hadn't seen for quite some time.

"Officer Lyao only let us two in," Nero grumbled.

Yuri paused, then responded in a chilly tone, "What are you here for? Do you think they've come to visit me out of genuine concern?"

Nero instinctively wanted to argue, but considering Yuri's status now, he swallowed his anger, replying, "We share the same blood."

"So, I haven't mentioned to others that our relationship isn't great. Aren't you guys just enjoying the benefits that came after my fame?"

Nero's face stiffened, and he fell silent.

He had always ignored this daughter of his, even marrying her off to the legless Tuss Hiro after she lost an arm, switching out the elder daughter who was originally set to wed Tuss.

He was the one who gave up on her first.

Yuri's resentment towards him, towards the Cheng family, was understandable.
