Classroom and Hot Visitor

Thursday stared blankly at the furtive kid. He was performing healing magic on an actual person while the teacher supervised and guided him. That's what they all did these days—using magic for everyday tasks. Not that she was particularly against using magic to make their life easier, but she thought that the true potential of magic is not realized this way. But what did she know? She wasn't one of them with their sparkly ass glitters. Magic is useless. It could take you only so far.

"Alright then, class. You can see William here did a great job. But I expect nothing less from the rest of you."

'Now then...' the young teacher Ms Shina settled her gaze on Thursday, a girl with caramel brown hair that was tied loosely in the back. But the girl in question was not looking. She had lost interest in the unfutile lesson some time ago. Her dark brown eyes now searching the empty hallway for something or perhaps someone as if they had a mind of their own.

'Thursday, yes you come forward.'

Thursday didn't bother looking. This new teacher was simply annoying. She always tried to make Thursday participate in lessons and practices. Thursday knew the teacher was simply trying to do a good job with the students as was her duty. And Thursday had actually admired her quality but it didn't make the whole ordeal any less annoying, especially when you're the one in the receiving end and that too one a bad day.

Afterall who likes to get humilated repeatedly?

Thursday sighed and tried to be a little more positive

She stood up and made her way to the front of the class. Her hair swayed gently behind her as she walked. It was just above her midriff.

'But Miss, she doesn't know magic. Why do you bother with her?' Somebody from the back spoke up. But Thursday didn't bother turning cause she already knew the owner of the voice but she did straightened her spine, a sign that she wasn't so indifferent to those comments as she feigned. It was Sasha but luckily she is nothing like those bullies that you read about in webnovels. Her girl group was just an annoying lot that liked to run their salty mouth.

'She may not know magic but she has other area of expertise, hasn't she?' the teacher said and to her 'Come hurry, Thursay'

"Just great..." with that Thursday picked up her pace and stood before another patient who had lunge problems. She frowned and looked at the old man who was openly staring at her. But those eyes didn't held any emotion. Where do they find so many people with the same problem? She had no idea.

She forced herself to maintain the eye contact and not look away but when it was clear that the old man was going to keep looking at her, she decided to look elsewhere.

But she didn't have to be in his line of view for too long because soon another wannabe healer was summoned. Of course, Thursday had no real use than that of a helper.

The teacher babbled something of crucial importance to the healer and the healer paid attention to every detail and nodded his head now and then. Thursday had no real use than to stand as a assistant beside him and help him when needed and it wasn't still time to help him.

Raising his hand in the air, the armature healer named James closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Then he summoned his magic and green sparks started appearing in his hand. As the Healer concentrated, the mere sparks of healing magic soon turned into a green halo and his hand was the brightest thing glowing in the dim classroom of Charm.

Then he opened his eyes which held nothing but green halo. His pupils disappeared and held the essence of magic. The emptiness of it striked Thursday as odd.

One thought appeared in her mind 'Creepy...'

Soon the healer pressed both of his hands on the chest of the old man and furiously concentrated. The chest of the old man glowed bright as James channeled his essence to the problem that lied on the old mans lungs due to heavy smoking. It was going to leave the healer a bit exhausted after he was done but soon his essence would be replenished.

She stopped paying attention to the mess of a magic in front of her and looked outside. The hallways wasn't empty like before. A group of white armored male students were moving with some machines and instruments. But since they possessed magic, the machines and instruments simply floated in the air. Charm school was going through some changes. They were renewing the facilities and even adding additional things to improve the learning environment. But then someone shouted for them to move and they quickly scurried away as if sensing someone or something approaching.

As Thursday watched in apprehension, a group of armored man appeared one after another in practiced rhythm like they had done it many times before. And as Thursday watched, she saw one of the most feared King's Knights walk the hallways of Charm school. His face was stoic and dauntless. His black eyes reflected indifference and a promise to kill, dominate and slay whoever stands on his way. His smooth silky hair swayed in the morning air, casting over his eyes from time to time as he walked, hiding those deep set eyes from her. His cheekbones looked prominent and sharp as though they were cut from stones. The Knight don't seem to notice her though. He just walked straight as though nothing stood on his way. But Thursday felt a magnetic pull toward him. She wanted to run her hands through those silky hair and feel it's softness and gaze at those deep eyes for a long, long time.

Thursday was fantasizing about a King's Knight. What were the chances? She closed her eyes.

And then the old man screamed through vocal chords that Thursday didn't knew the old fool still had intacted and that's where Thursday comes in. Coming forward, Thursday hold the trashing old man down. Thursday was by no means weak. Though she didn't posses magical powers, she still practised the martial art that was part of the legacy of her family. But still she struggled to hold the old man down.

Healing magic was messy.
