FLASHBACK- I love you?

Kate was still standing in front of the door, a bit stunned.

'Ashton never mentioned he has an elder sister. Maybe he forgot. But wasn't she afraid if Ashton came? Chuck it, anyways it's their family matters, I am in no place to say anything to his sister anyways.' Thinking this Kate went back and sat in a nearby park, thinking of how to contact Ashton. Now that she thought of it, she never actually knew anything about Ashton at all. Just that he was in sophomore year, that too she didn't know his college name. He was rich, as he could easily book an entire club on her birthday. His second name was Ken and he has a sister about whom she got to know just now. That's it. She didn't know anything about him at all. Who were his parents, what they did, where were they, nothing. He never mentioned anything about anyone. And she was a fool herself, not to ask him. She was too much in love that she forgot to ask all such important things. Now she didn't even know how to contact him. His only sister shut the door in her face. As she was deep in thought suddenly a voice came.

"Oh god. You are here!"

Kate looked up and saw Ashton, drenched in sweat and huffing. First she couldn't believe her eyes. Was she seeing illusions? How come Ashton is standing right in front of her when she had been looking for him all day long? Kate just sat there and stared at his face.

"Come on babe, it's me. I'm sorry I couldn't contact you. I was going out of the city to get a friend and then.."

Kate suddenly hugged him and started quivering. "Thank god. Thank god you are okay. I was so scared"

Ashton flashed a weird smile on his face, short enough for no one to notice. Then he patted her back.

"There..there.. it's okay. It's all right. I was getting a friend from outside the city and the police came at the exact same time, so they thought I am running and leaving the city. So they detained me in the police station and took my cellphone. I'm sorry to make you worry babe. "

"What? They detained you !? How could they!! I told them everything!! Let's go to the police station right now. I think the police officer needs to be taught a few rules." Kate then pulled Ashton using his hand but Ashton stopped her.

"Babe, chuck it. It's fine. No need to go."

"No Ash! We have to go! This is wrong!! They can't detain you without proof!!"

"Babe!" Ashton raised his voice a bit. Kate immediately felt silent.

"I am sorry baby. I am telling you every thing is fine right? Trust me. It's all good. I am a bit tired so I want to go home and rest a bit. My sister told me what happened. Don't mind her. She's always like that. She's a snobby person. Alright?"

"Okay... "

"My good girl. I love you" Then he kissed her on the forehead and said good night and then both of them left the park.
