Chapter one

(TW ALCOHOL AND ABUSE)

After a long day at school I came home and started to do my homework. When I was done my home work my father came home,everyday I pray that he comes home and tells us he is okay and is sober. My dads a big drinker and every time he comes home from work he has a case of beer or two and drinks it all in one night. My dads Abusive when he's drunk... well he's abusive in general. Me and my mom are scared of him all he does is yell at us and hit us. I go to school every day with foundation covering up bruises.

God I wish I could leave here and never come back.

"ELENA HUNNY TIME FOR DINNER" yelled my mother

"IM COMING" I yelled back I close up my books and head downstairs for dinner. When I got to the table I sat down waiting for my mother to bring out the food that she had prepared for us.I look over at my father while I wait and I ask him "how was work?" "Shut your little mouth" he yells back. I sit back in my seat and I stay quiet. About three minutes later my mother brings out the food. We all sat and ate without speaking a word to each other. When we finished eating I told my mother I'm going to go to bed. I headed up stairs and went in my room. I locked the door. I never leave my door unlocked when I'm in there it doesn't feel right. I got dressed into my pjs and brushed my teeth in my bathroom in my room. Yes I have a bathroom in my room.

I finish brushing my teeth and laid in bed watching tiktok I come across a video talking about this thing called "shifting" I heard it's when you leave your body and go into a new one in a different reality and you can go somewhere you thought wasn't possible to go. For me I'm gonna go to hogwarts. I'm a big time potter head I've met all of the cast,I have all there autographs, and I've watched the movies a million times I'm in love with Harry Potter. I think to myself "maybe I should try shifting to hogwarts"

"No that's crazy" I thought "how can I leave this world and enter a new one that's not even real?" I thought again. "I might as well try" so I looked up some methods and I sat at my table and wrote out a script. after about two hours of writing and editing my script it was perfect and ready. It was 2Am and I was looking up different methods and how to do them, I came across a method called the raven method and said I would try that. So I laid down on back and began to count.
