As the anime itself is a bit cheesy when it comes to romantic moments and such, I warn you that this is why I tried to write the book in that same style.
And I'm ashamed to admit... that I enjoyed doing this...

Waking up to the sound of birds chirping, Y/n Claes, second princess and daughter of Duke Luigi Claes and Duchess Millidiana Claes, looked out her bedroom window and smiled
Seeing the bright sun shining in a clear blue sky, the girl had a feeling that today would be a great day.
Jumping out of bed, she quickly changed into her usual F/c dress with brown heeled boots before heading to the living room to eat her breakfast.
Just like her sister, Katarina, Y/n was known for having a good appetite. So, when she entered the room and saw all the delicious food on the table, the girl couldn't handle her hunger and ate almost half of it.
"Lady Y/n, how many times am I going to have to repeat myself..." A woman with short brown hair in a maid's outfit entered the room with a discouraged expression "You need to wait for everyone to arrive before eating because you're not the single hungry in the morning
"Sorry Anne" the girl said with her mouth full making the maid laugh
"Good morning!" A very cheerful blue eyed girl exclaimed as she entered "Did everyone have a good night's rest?"
"I did, Lady Katarina" Anne smiled
"What about you Y/n?"
"Absolutely!" the girl gave her sister a thumbs up "What about you? No nightmares or anything?"
'No, nothing" the girl sat at the table next to her sister "I think I was so exhausted from yesterday's work in the garden that my mind didn't have the energy to make me dream"
"Speaking of the garden, maybe you'd like to help me? I managed to get my hands on some pumpkin seeds and thought we could plant them together"
"I would love to, but maybe later in the afternoon" Katarina replied as she piled some food on her plate
"So why?" You raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"You forgot?" the girl laughed "We promised to have a reading session with Sophia about a new novel she's recently become interested in"
"Ah, damn!" you slapped her forehead '"she's totally out of my mind. What time did we agree to meet?"
"Exactly 10am, Miss Y/N."
"Wait 10 am..." the girl looked at the old clock on the wall "But that's in ten minutes!" she screamed
"Exactly, which means you two have to leave this way" Anne opened the door to the hallway "A carriage is already waiting for you"
"Thank you Anne, now come on Katarina" you grabbed your sister by the wrist making her drop the croissant
"Wait! I didn't finish eating" she lamented
"We'll probably have a lot of sweets during our reading session so no need to worry" you said as you ran to the front door
"Oh, I hope Maria brings some of her delicious sweets" the brown haired girl could feel herself salivating at the thought of having a cookie or anything baked from her friend in her mouth
"I'm sure you can count on it"

"Maria, as always, your pastries never surprise me" Katarina hummed in delight "This is so good!"
"I'm glad to hear that, take as much as you the blonde offered
How about we all take a little break to eat and rest our eyes? "you suggested what everyone in the room agreed with
"Ahh...finally" Mary sighed dramatically and let herself sink onto the sofa
"Already tired?" you looked at the girl who gave a slight nod.
"Although I really enjoy reading, having to do it for two hours straight without a break can be quite tiring" said the red-haired girl
I'm sure that after a good tea you will have a lot of energy"
"I'll ask the staff if they can provide us with some" Sophia got up from the couch and was about to leave the room but you stopped her
"Wait, is it okay if I hang out outside for a while?" you questioned
'That's not a problem' she smiled
"Anyone else want to join me?" You looked at the girls, but they all wanted to stay inside
"Alright, I'll be back in ten minutes" With that you left the room and headed down the hall towards the front door
However, while walking, you were looking anywhere but in front of you, which, unsurprisingly, caused you to abruptly bump into someone.
"Oh my God!" you immediately bowed while rubbing your nose "Forgive me, I wasn't paying attention"
"It's okay," said a calm, gentle voice. Standing up, a smile appeared on your lips as you locked eyes with your friend, Nicol Ascart
"Good morning, Mrs. Y/n" he greeted "I'm glad to see you again"
"Likewise"' you laughed "But please, I already told you to call me Y/n. There's no need for formalities"
"Sorry" the black haired man scratched the back of his head "But I guess I'll probably never get used to it"
"I understand, but know that it's okay" you reassured "Anyway... I better leave as I still want to get some air before continuing my reading session with the others"
"Are you going to the garden?" the boy questioned curiously to which you nodded your head.
"Do you... perhaps mind if I join you?" He asked hesitantly.
'I don't, but do you have time for that?' You tilted your head
"I've finished most of my work, so I can offer a break," he replied
"In that case, you're more than welcome' you smiled with your eyes closed and started walking again, this time with Nicol by your side...
Who, unbeknownst to him, smiled at you.
