The night party

I opened my eyes groggily trying to sit up properly on my bed
"What is it" I was literally glaring at Sophie my Wahala roommate a nickname she earned from me because of her troublesome nature
"Wake up joor, Mrs Sleeping beauty" she hissed
Ella is a chocolate skin lady with black and full natural hair or virgin hair as the student popularly call it. She has pretty and crystal clear eyes with red and full lip, she's very endowed and undeniably pretty While Sophie is tall, fair and slim, she has brown long hair which she made to the latest campus hairstyles popularly known as knotless braids. She has pointed nose, small, pouty pink lip and brown eyes almost the same colour as her hair. She is also endowed and she's the social butterfly unlike Emma whom everyone see as Efiko, those who love to spend their time reading and researching.
By now Emma is fully awake, Sophie had better tell me something reasonable for her to wake me up like this" I mumured inwardly
Sophie sat on her bed which was adjacent to mine
"Have you heard about Liam's party, Baby girl it's gonna be a big hit, We have to be there" she giggled excitedly
Liam is Sophie's best friend, he has been her best friend since year 1 and at a point everyone thought they were dating due to their closeness
"That's it, Party...So you woke me up just to tell me about a party I won't attend" I hissed trying to stop myself from getting angry
"What do you mean by you won't attend the party, you are joking right" she gave me the disbelieving look
"Yes am not attending, can I go back to my sleep now" I requested
"Are you for real, look you need to stop this highly studious life of yours it's either you read or sleep, can't you be more social" she was now sitting close to me like a mother tying to advice her child
"Thanks for your advice ma'am but not today" I said trying to get back to sleep
"Well Liam is coming over by 7pm and We" she said pointing to me and herself are going with him
I am tired of arguing with her already, I just ignored her and went back to bed, I couldn't sleep anymore so I picked up a novel to read
"Am off to class girly, I'll be back by 6pm so that we can have one hour to prepare for the party ans don't you dare sleep off" Sophie gave a note of warning and left the room

Sophie Pov
I was staring at the board blankly, just a few minutes ago it was scanty but now it's full with lots of calculation I sighed, maths is not really my thing I'll just ask Emma to explain to me later.
Speaking of Emma, I have to go dress her up for the party am pretty sure she's uninterested in the party I'll just convince her when I get home I thought inwardly
After what seems like ages the class came to an end
I could literally hear everyone mumuring Thank God and Finally"
"Hey little shawty" Liam called out as he is fond of calling me and jogged to where I was packing my books in my bag
"Yo,my gee" wassup I said giving him a light hug
"Am good, so how is it going to be, should I come pick you up tonight, Liam asked
"Sure, am not going to miss the party for anything not when the popular musician is coming"
"Hmmm, Sophie Sophie I know you will surely be there but are you bringing your roomie along" Liam aked
"Am not sure but I'll try you know how she is now" I said shrugging
"I know just make sure you bring her you know Graham likes her" Liam said
Graham is Liam closest friend and the most famous playboy on campus. Due to his good looks and wealth girl are always flocking around him
"No probs Liam, I'll try my best but am not sure Graham is good enough for her" I told him
"Who knows he might fall in love with her and turn a new leaf, love they say is blind"
"You are right sha, let's see how it unfolds I said
"So about the assignment, will you ask your roomie to help us cuz I don't understand anything the lecturer was saying today" Liam asked giving me the cute puppy dog eye
"Ooops, sorry but your puppy face won't work for me today so go and do your assignment yourself" I said
"Says the girl that's not going to do her assignments herself" he said rolling his eye
"Hmm, ya right but at least I have hope unlike someone" I said grinning
"Whatever, Just do yours I'll copy your book when you are done" he requested
"Hmmm, you are such a badass" I said laughing
He also joined in laughing after gisting for a while, he waved goodbye and I rushed home to prepare for the party.
