FEW DAYS BEFORE THE INCIDENT. 

" Have you found her?" A voice that would almost make their hearts stop was heard but weirdly seem much gentle than usual well maybe because he was talking about her the mysterious woman he had been looking for years now.

" No we found no information about her or anyone with that name in the national birth and death records not the name or year matched with such a person" the private investigator reported and for the first time in his career he felt like a clown.

" Conclusion!"

" This means that either she might be alive but changed her identity or she doesn't exist at all but we still have no idea of her whereabouts"

" Then you are useless" The man said coldly before turning his leather chair so that he made them face his back, he seem to be in deep thought or maybe hiding whatever he was feeling at the moment " Where are you? How can I find you" He thought as certain memories of his past flood in his mind all at once. 

" Even if it require me to turn this world upside-down, crush the mountains, raise the land or split the oceans just to find you then I will, I'll definitely find you. "

" Delphina Odiham 26 years old the only child of the Eastern branch born in 1996 got married in September 16th, 2018 Am I right?" The elder asked and I suddenly felt chilly down my spine I mean how could someone know so much about me when we never even met before.

" Elder please look at her fortune" my mother-in-law insisted and seem impatient, then he looked at me as if asking for permission and I had no choice but to agree but then one look and it changed everything.

Maybe the old man was right my life after all was one of tragedy and everything was finally happening piece by piece.

THE DAY OF INCIDENT. 

It was just too dark I could hardly see my own high heels and staggered a bit not being able to hold the lighted head of mine but how did I end up like this the last thing I knew I never drink and only had chilled water.

Then again we were at a party that Daclin insisted on me to join he said there will be a lot of prominent people coming and he wanted me to socialise with their wives.

Normally I wouldn't bother with such parties and he knew my disinterest with the socialites since they viewed me an outsider I never bother with them.

" won't you help your husband " he said and he knew to his earnest request I couldn't deny him.

" only this time I have a lecture tomorrow I can't stay long" I insisted.

" Yes Del I promise it won't take long....come on now get ready we might get late" He seem impatient and was all pushy to make me look the best of myself he even help me choose the dress which was very eye catching, as far as I remembered he didn't like to see me wear one.

And after all these years I had to stop myself for choosing my most loved brands and go along with all his wishes, 

" You know that I love you very much don't you?" He suddenly said while looking at me a bit guilt as if he has done something wrong.

" I do" I replied then stopped working on my face then turn to look at him who immediately changed his facial expression. 

" I love you too" I said then flushed my best smile to easy the man who in turn gave a small smile.

" I hope you understand why I had to do this" He said.

Thinking he was talking about the sudden pushy request of his I smiled and assured him that it was okay.

" I understand I'm glad I could help".

The night was twinkling not just with the red eye catching dress of mine but also the mood of the night, they said that might master Giovinne was here but until late at night nobody was able to even see the shadow of him and this was just too frustrating to the rich men here.

Though I knew nothing about business world but I knew who this man was, he was the man who had recently brought shares in the Ford company and was the owner of the Graham group of Western City. 

They say master Giovinne was very fond of women and it wouldn't be surprising to agree a deal just for the sake of one of the beautiful ladies that was a rumour and most of people believed that and had brought along beautiful ladies to the party.

I couldn't be bothered because unfortunately I don't fall into that category and most important I'm married woman with my husband beside me. That Mr Giovinne whoever he is wouldn't even pay attention to someone like me.

Time passed by and I was getting bored especially after getting hypocritical flattering from the socialites whom I knew immediately laughed at me after I turn my back from them.

The waiter came and I ordered my chilled water to get over my boredom and annoyance, Daclin was still talking with some business men while I sat at a corner waiting for him quietly drinking my now brought chilled water.

From where I was I looked up to the opposite floor and I saw a group of men who seem to have fun and another sitting quietly but I just couldn't see his face clearly as he was facing his back on me or whatever but where is that guest of honour that they were all anticipating about I was already tired of this.

Emptying that glass of chilled water I zoned off but moment later after ordering that drink I started seeing stars and clouds Daclin who had just came back from talking to the business after getting my message seem to notice my state.

" Daclin!"

" What's wrong?" He asked with much concern on his eyes.

" I think I'm dizzy can you help me please?"

" What happened?"

" I don't know I feel dizzy all over sudden "

" Go have a rest first I still have guests to talk to Hanna will take you to the room I will soon catch up wait for me there" he said and like that I believed him.

I was never a good drinker nor do I like to and I didn't even consume alcohol

then.. then how?.. why do I suddenly feel so dizzy and drunk, I kept on thinking with my now muddled head and blurred vision while Hanna helped me inside one room so I thought it was probably our room.

He had already made all the arrangements even the bed beautifully so thoughtful of him I praised him inwardly before dropping myself on the bed.

But just outside the room.

Hanna was on the phone call " Boss everything is done just as you instructed "

The person on the other side of the phone call answered " Good!"

" Are you sure you will be fine" The words of concern of a man from the opposite floor was heard.

" Do you doubt my capabilities " A man with black hairs wearing a black suit said with cold tone despite his weak condition. 

" how dare I!... young master is beyond capable but if someone happens to see you like this it might ruin your plan to not be recognised, there are a lot of people here I will get the Fords to prepare a room for you" The man said while holding him.

" Here help young master" the man said and took out his phone then the following few minutes he talked on the phone.

" Take care of him"

" Yes Boss"

With that being said the stumbling man was escorted to a room too and the door was closed and so was their fate.
