He was waiting

He was waiting and seem very determined despite time passing without any sign of her arrival. 

He looked angry but for some reasons kept his cool and was very patient. 

After witnessing her interaction with that Mr Giovinne he couldn't take it off his head and thought to talk to her.

" Phina where are you?" He mumbled with gritted teeth as it was getting cold as time goes by and he couldn't take it.

There was something inside me that wanted to witness this having him waiting with hope yet won't even get to see my shadow, witnessing this my memories took me back to few years ago and how I used to be in that similar state sadly not only once or twice in fact everytime I ask him out he would claim he was busy.

One time he said he would come and it was the same month around this end of the year cold and snowing yet I waited for him until I could hardly feel my limbs.

He didn't show up and when I asked him about it he flared up like I was being too naggy for no reason when he was just working hard to provide for us but now thinking about it, it was then he had attended the party that Ruther lady had prepared and even his mother was there only I was naive back then to believe him.

She even told me herself about how fun her party was and showed me photos but then I thought maybe it was for the sake of business as the Ruther family was part of the shareholders that was how I deceived myself back then.

He was there outside waiting area of the now crowded cafe waiting I forgot to tell him how hard it was to reserve a place in there in this time of the year the cafe was very famous and a lot of people came as it was end of the year.

The last year I made a great effort to reserve a place and I was very excited to share a moment with him there but who thought he would just throw it on my face like it was nothing and cancelled our plan.

I was hurt especially when I got to know what he was doing all this time I felt hurt and foolish for blindly believing him all the time.

I had been there for a while and was having my favorite milk coffee as I watch him struggle outside with cold and embarrassment whatever he wants to say to me I had no interest to listen to it as to why I came here is because I wanted to see the reaction he will have after realising that his dog had long broke the chain and furious enough to even bite him.

But then I got a message from unknown number and from the content I realised that it was him. " Why did you block my number come here quickly I don't have much time to waste" it said.

Reading the message I almost choked why was he so confident that I would come what gave him the confidence. Well that was good then because the more confident he was the more he would get vexed once he realise that he had no power over me.

Around eight at night I left the cafe at the back door while he was still waiting at the front that I wondered what he was thinking enough to have that patience however did not care anymore.

On the other side.

Robert had stopped the meeting he was just having after getting a message from the driver that stated that miss Odiham had left the house and went to a cafe.

At first he was not much concerned about it but then when he asked where her ex-husband was and was told he was at the cafe too he was not pleased at all and looked very cold.

It was very satisfying to see all his confidence crumble down and got very angry he has sent several messages threatening me to meet him but I was no longer the same whom he could just order like that and his threats were like a clown act to me.

What could he possibly do to me? I thought while making my way back into the house but to my surprise I received very weird gazes from the servants. 

" Welcome back ma'am " The butler said calmly he seem to have a neutral expression compare to all of them despite the dislike hidden deep in his eyes that I wondered why.

That day I didn't know what was going on but the next day I realised why,

Coming from my room I was surprised to see a young woman with brown hairs wearing a much revealing clothes and her green eyes staring at me with hostility that felt familiar.

She looked very young so young that I could have mistaken her for a teen but she was in her early twenties probably.

" Who are you? What are you doing in Robert's place?" She asked harshly with hostility as if I was not worthy being there or that I was her rival over something. 

" Excuse me who are you?" I asked back, since she was the one who came why must I be questioned besides Mr Giovinne didn't say anything about this bossy lady I thought.

" Are you dumb I asked you first now answer me" She said harshly and certainly I didn't like the way she was speaking to me but couldn't say anything to reprimand her besides I didn't even know who she was and it looks like she was close to Mr Giovinne since she could even come to his place and order people around even the butler seem helpless here that I wondered why.

" Miss Dawson master wouldn't like this please leave" the butler said helplessly that I started wondering what relationship she had with Mr Giovinne. 

" No I'm not going anywhere until I know who this woman is?" She said harshly that I hated her guts though I didn't expect things to get bad but it did to my shock.

" Now let me tell you no one is allowed to stay with Robert you are going to leave this house right now and I don't care who you are" She said authoritatively that I was lost of words.

" Agatha go take her things out" She said loudly and nobody could refute her.
