Many women waited patiently for him to tell them whom he chose as his spouse. When Gu Tian saw this, he thought with an amused smile, 'Never thought there'd be a day where all these beauties would patiently wait for me to tell them whom I'll choose among them, haha! Life sure is unpredictable.'

Gu Tian then looked at the crowd and opened his mouth as he said, "I have decided that I won't be taking any spouses, slaves, nor a servant except for one. I won't be choosing any." Hearing his words, everyone in the hall became shocked while the women in the hall who were trying to become his spouses or even just his servants/slaves were disappointed and became gloomy, but after hearing the latter words, they became a little bit excited with some hope of it being them.

Gu Tian didn't waste any time talking and instead teleported near Mei Mei, who was too shocked to hear Gu Tian's latter words.

As she was too stunned and shocked, she didn't notice Gu Tian teleporting near her as she was comprehending his words with tears gathering in her eyes.

As Mei Mei was in a trance, she finally felt someone's presence near her. As she looked upward, what she saw was the smiling face of Gu Tian looking down at her as she was on her knees right now.

"Y-young m-master, h-how can I help you?" Mei Mei said while stuttering as she was too stunned by the events unfolding before her very own eyes.

While everyone were wondering if gu tian is taking mei mei, there was one stupid person who thought otherwise as she came forward with her hands covering her cheeks.

"Young Master! Have you chosen me? Ah, I knew I was beautiful, but I didn't think I was so beautiful that young master would even reject taking any woman other than me!" Jiaohong said as she softly covered her face with her hands, making an embarrassed face.

When everyone heard her, they automatically looked at her like she was stupid, and yes, she indeed was very stupid. Gu Tian indeed rejected every girl from a higher position, so would he bother to look at a lowlife whore like her!?

Everyone naturally thought like that while giving Jiaohong a strange glance with disgust evident in their gaze.

'Wait, what? When did I say that I rejected all the women for you? Urgh, it seems her stupidity knows no bounds. Besides, who even is she?' I thought with a strange expression on my face as I looked at the stupid girl that just spoke nonsense.

I didn't waste any more time and just kicked the hell out of her as she was blown away by my kick's impact and smashed into the wall.

"Tch, how delusional," I muttered in a small voice, but everyone heard it and just gulped down a mouthful of saliva.

After that, I shifted my gaze to the motionless and shocked Mei Mei who just looked at the wall where Jiaohong was smashed into.

"Aren't you the girl that I saved from bullies some years ago!?" I said, gaining her attention as she looked at me.

"Y-yes, I am the girl that you saved years ago," she said, stuttering a little with a blush on her face.

'I-i can't believe young master still remembers me! Even after all these years. I thought he would have already forgotten about me,' I thought with a shocked expression that had a huge blush on it.

"After saving you, I did a little research on you and kept my watch on you, but boy, I gotta say I'm quite impressed by your dedication, your hard work, and your feelings for me. I'll only say it once so listen carefully, Mei Mei, are you willing to become my woman?" Gu Tian dropped the bomb.

When he said that, everyone in the hall went quiet from his words as they were too shocked to even utter a word. As for Mei Mei, she became completely motionless and didn't even move as she was simply shocked by what Gu Tian just said.

The reason she and everyone in the hall became so shocked was that Gu Tian asked her and did not order her.

Considering his position and powers, if he wanted to, he could just order Mei Mei and she would have to agree because she's just a maid.

And if she somehow still rejected him, then she would experience something worse than death.
