Chapter 11: Gu Tian's True Face [1]

"Haha, good, good! I like it. I feel so much more powerful than when I was at the peak of the Mayhem Realm. I feel like I can crush millions of peak Mayhem Realm cultivators at will," I said out loud, happiness evident on my face as I looked at my status.

[What you said isn't wrong! You can really crush millions of peak Mayhem Realm cultivators,] Eve said, adding to my happiness and excitement to try it out against enemies right away.

"Oh, I forgot that the key to awakening mei mei's real spiritual roots was for her lover to conquer her mind, body... Ugh, I should try to give her some of my time... "Hah, who said I'm selfish? I am a good boy!" I said something that even I wouldn't believe.

Well, she is right; I really am selfish, and I am already aware of that fact. But that's what makes me who I am, and I'm proud of myself that I can do anything without the hindrance of anything.

[Meh, I would be dumb to believe your words.]

"Haha." I just laughed it off, and as I was about to continue my conversation with Eve, a maid came in uninvited to my room, making me a little pissed. Is my room something that anybody can come in and go? Doesn't she have some kind of ethics?

"Young Master, your mother Gu Meina is calling you!" she said, a little rudely, which pissed me off even more.

I didn't say anything and let out my aura, pressuring her to kneel on the ground.

"Oye, who the fuck are you to call my mother by her name? Huh, do you think that I would let it slide? And who the hell gave you the right to enter my room at will?" I said with a cold and emotionless tone that made her shiver as she kneeled.

"I-I—" She was about to say something, but I just used a small teleportation technique, appeared in front of her, and grabbed her by her neck.

"Huh? What? I can't hear you... say it loudly!" I said with an evil smile on my face as I continued to grab her, but this time with a little bit of force that made it difficult for her to speak.

"I-I.... am... the..... personal.....m-m-maid of Gu Me—" She was about to say my mother's name once again, but I just pressed her neck even harder.

Lucky for her that she's a cultivator at the Saint Realm; otherwise, she would have died from the force I was using to grab her neck.

"What were you trying to say again?" I said as I let her neck go, and as she was on the ground, I unleashed my pressure on her, making her lay on the ground, unable to speak as I put my shoe on her face.

"Haha, you really need a beating, huh... hmm, wait a second! Let's hear your words this time," I said with a psychotic smile on my face that made her shiver once again as I took back all my pressure, allowing her to stand on the ground.

"I-I am the personal m-maid of Madam Gu! She won't let you off if you kill me," she said, her face red due to my humiliating her.

"Oh, so you think you're more important to her than me, her own son! Haha, let's test that then," I said with a psychotic laugh that gave her a horrified expression.

(The humiliated maid's POV)

'Damn, damn, damn, damn you fucker! How dare you, a mama's boy, humiliate me like that!!!! Just let me speak for one moment, and I'll see how your expression changes,' I thought with so much anger building up in me, experiencing the humiliation from this mama's boy who only knows how to cultivate all day long.

"Haha, you really need a beating, huh... hmm, wait a second!! How 'bout I hear your pitiful words this time. Speak what you have to say fast; I'm not so merciful, you know," he said with a psychotic smile on his face that made me shiver in fear as he took back all the pressure he was putting on me, allowing me to stand again on my two feet.

"I-I am the personal m-maid of Madam Gu! She won't let you off if you kill me," I said, my face red with anger.

'Hehe, let's see how your expression changes on hearing that I'm complaining to your mother,' I thought, expecting to hear a pitiful cry of begging, but I was dead wrong.

He didn't beg for mercy or tell me not to inform his mother; instead, he just laughed so loudly that his psychotic laugh echoed through the whole room.

"Buhahahahahahahahahahaha," he laughed, putting his hands on his mouth to control his laughter, but it was all futile as he didn't stop, making me rethink if I was the idiot one this whole time.

"Buhahaha, so, huff, so you think you're more important to her than me, her own son! Haha, let's test that then," he said with a psychotic smile on his face, making me so horrified that I wished I had never done what I just did.

"N-no, please," I said, hoping he was like the previous Gu Tian that I knew of a few months back. But... no, he just laughed and grabbed my hand with pressure.

I tried my best to run away, but then a thought hit me, and I stopped resisting.

'What's the point of even doing that? I'm sure they'll put a bounty on my head, and the whole immortal world will hunt me down to the end of the world.'

As I was lost in my thoughts of how I would die, I didn't even notice that we had already reached Madam Meina's room.

Knock* Knock* Knock*

He knocked on the door, making me sweat in fear, and I peed a little from the terror of what was going to happen.

"Oya, peeing already? Haha," laughed the demon who put me on this dead-end road.
