Suddenly, the old man halted in his tracks and shouted.

A blue aura came out of his body and formed a shield around him.

The moment the shield formed around him, the arrow arrived, hitting the shield.

A deafening sound echoed, and the shockwaves sent the guard a couple of steps back.

As for the old man, he took two steps back with his face full of shock.

Looking at the cracks on his shield, his heart skipped a beat, beads of sweat dripping from the corner of his head.

However, the threat was far from over.

Just as he breathed a sigh of relief, another arrow appeared before him.

"Nooooo!"

He screamed and summoned all his spiritual energy to strengthen his defense.

With wide eyes, he watched as his shield shattered to pieces and the arrow hit his chest.

He exploded. Till death, he didn't even have a chance to fight back.
