/"Shoot!!/" She said to herself when she saw him in the living room. /"Hey/", he said to her.

/"Hey/", she said to him and she walked into the kitchen, grabbed one of the biscuits in the fridge and she scurried back to her room but before she could get to the door, he interrupted her.

/"Jess/", he called out and she turned around.

/"Can we talk?/" He asked and she wished the ground would open and swallow her.

/"Yeahh/", she said, walking to the living room and she sat opposite him.

He observed her for a while and it made her feel uncomfortable. She was about to speak but he beat her to it.

/"I’m sorry for how I acted yesterday. Walking out on you like that after dropping a huge bomb on you wasn’t cool. I’m really sorry/".

/"It’s fine, I didn’t take it to heart/".

/"And I know you’re still finding it hard to process everything and I know you had a hard time sleeping. I’m sorry for being the cause of that/".
