Chapter 7 - Dimensional Titan Minotaur Mayhem In A Survival Game

Felix stood before the building that was about four storeys high. He pushed open the double doors and stormed in. Knocking would have to wait for later.

Felix looked around himself in curiosity.

Various closed rooms lined up the two sides of the floors passageway. Felix stood at the middle of the passageway that divided the floor in two.

Felix carefully walked into the elevator which was at the extreme end, then opened it before walking inside. With a frown, Felix closed the elevator and pressed the 'up' button before waiting patiently as the elevator began to rise.

1st Floor...

No attack.

He started feeling strange, as if something would go terribly wrong in this place. Where is everyone? Why isn't there signs of battle?

'I hope I won't get killed in this hellhole!' Luke thought as beads of sweat ran down his face and dropped to the elevator floor.

2nd Floor...

Whoosh~

A ferociously shot fiery arrow tore a hole through the elevator, and flew at the back of Felix's head.

Felix's eyes fiercely contracted as he instinctively dashed to the side narrowly evading the arrow that flew past. His brows twitched as he instantly looked behind himself to see that the back of the elevator was suddenly torn off by someone with the Metallic Telekinesis ability, while a tough battle was going on in the third floor.

Felix only planned to watch, wishing the elevator would go higher but luck was nowhere to be seen today. The elevator came to a creaking stop as three blazing red arrows were shot at Felix.

Holy!

Felix ducked down as three arrows blew past his head at a dazzling speed. He managed to take a glimpse of what they were dealing with that made them fight in such a frenzy...

They're not fighting each other again... are they?

It was some creatures that looked like winged lions with dark green fur, and bright red eyes. If not for their strangely green body, Felix would believe that was a gryphin from ancient times.

Fuck! Those are alien mutations!

Felix pressed his body against the ground as he closed his eyes, praying to whatever god there is in the world that the elevator should restart.

Slowly, the elevator shook violently before resuming it's elevation at snail's pace. Slowly... Felix arrived at a new floor, but the elevator didn't stop but suspiciously flew up at a crazy pace.

3rd Floor!

Felix sprang up and dashed to the area where he deemed safe enough. His back was pressed against the wall while his eyes were shut.

The sound of battle was heard, as Felix's muscles tensed... Something's wrong with the elevator!

4th Floor!

Felix dashed out of the elevator as fast as he could. The elevator exploded afterwards, the shockwave sent Felix hurtling through the air.

Telekinesis!

Felix slowed down his fall by holding up his body with his power and dropping himself down slowly. His brows furrowed as his feet touched the ground.

"F*ck it!"

He immediately tilted his head slightly to the side as a freezing white bullet whizzed past his face. Leaving a slight graze of blood on his cheek.

The bullet struck a weird creature that was right behind Felix. It was most likely a dimensional alien creature from the third dimensional plane. It was just two feet in height and stood on all fours. It had a monstrous bear-like face with huge tusks protruding from it's mouth corners. It's fore paws was larger than it's hind paws while it's back was hunched.

The tiny bullet wasn't even able to break through the creatures disgusting defence, only angering it as it let out a furious roar.

Dimensional Boa-Bear!

The air around it was contaminated by the cosmic waste being radiated from it's body. The creature snorts as it continuously drew it's right paw against the ground in preparation for an attack.

Felix's eyes practically turned into exclamation marks and he dashed out of the monster's attack range. His gaze sharpened as he looked up to the boa-bear who had lost it's target and was looking around in confusion.

Felix felt subtle regret dodging so soon...

He could have waited for it to charge towards him before dodging, so it can crash into a wall or something.

Felix shot a look down to his watch as his expression grew even more serious than ever. The numbers are dropping...

The boa-bear turned to look at Felix after sniffing him out. It had a look of outrage in his eyes as it charged blindly at Felix with immense speed.

Yay, it's a foolish one! Felix was ecstatic as he activated his genes.

Telekinesis!

Felix held out his hands as various deadly shards of metal laying on the ground began to rise slowly off the ground. His azure eyes sparkled as he swung both his hands simultaneously at the boa-bear, making the various blades to be shot at the dimensional creature at once.

"Die~!" Felix roared as he swung his arms again, shooting even more sharply edged objects at the boa-bear, even spikes and thorns were sent flying towards it.

The boa-bear foolishly kept his charge, not caring about the overwhelming sense of danger that had rested upon him. In a flash, all the blades made contact as the boa-bear's defence was broken, yellow blood splattering everywhere as the various shards of metal penetrated deep into it's skin.

[-Felix Killed One D-Creature!-]

Krypton grinned as the message appeared on his screen. His heart raced at the speed of light as he looked at the message over and over.

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" He roared as he pumped his fists in the air. Despite his titanic build, Krypton moved as agile as a snake.

Aelin rolled her eyes, but her interest for Felix had already gone through the roof. Her heart wasn't racing as Krypton's, but she was inwardly eager to meet this kid in person. Hmm, maybe if he survives I can go visit him let me test him some more.

"I told the both of you that this fight would be interesting, Humph. No one ever believes the almighty Byflex anymore. Even that brat Aerial dared to call me arrogant in front of such an important guest." Byflex said as he puffed out his chest and placed his hands on his hips. He was the great and mighty Byflex! He was truly never wrong.

"I said it and I won't take it back." Aerial took a deep and shouts sharply, "YOU ARE ARROGANT YA OLD TROLL~!"

"How dare-? Ya know what brat, you are dead. Since you have the resurrection ability, I'll kill you a hundred... no a thousand times!" Byflex said as he stomped his foot against the ground in anger. His brows twitched as he his chest rose and fell in anger.

"I will like to see you try. Old troll!" Aerial stuck out her small tongue to Byflex in a taunting manner before disappearing in a cloud of dust.

A blue vein bulged out in Byflex's forehead as he snapped us finger in a blink. In the next instant red lightning rained after Aerial who was soaring through the air with a pair of golden feathery wings while sprouting brain wrecking curses at Byflex.

"That little imp!" Byflex cursed as he flew after her with his hands behind his back, a ferocious smile on his face. I'm going to kill that kid, for real now.

Krypton shook his head before turning back to the screen. His eyes narrowed as he watched Felix's every move.

Felix on the other hand spared another glance at the device on his wrist.

So this was all a trap! That was part of the reason only two-hundred and fifty people were allowed to survive! There are the same amount of monsters in this place, and we have to reduce the number to zero! That's the number one priority of this stage.

It wasn't a last one to survive game, but defeat all the monsters game!

Felix sighed as he dashed to the aid of a little boy no more than ten years of age who was using his mutant ability to fend off the waves of dimensional golden horned ants that were twice the size of a normal cat.

These dimensional ants had very tough and resilient spiky gold shells coating their backs, legs and abdomen. The were one of the all-rounded dimensional creatures with a power rating of three stars.

Felix just aided the boy by finishing off the already hurt creatures that were trying to sneak up on him. He used the poor kid to badly injure the creatures, while he gets the last kill.

"Help! Somebody help me!" A female mutant screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Ah~"

Thud Thud Thud Squash~!

A huge dimensional creature towering over thirty metres high squashed the screaming woman to death with it's large foot that was twice the size of a normal human car of ancient times.

Felix felt his scalp turn numb at the sight of the creature. Numbers started to rise in his head as his vision blurred...

One, Two, Three...

Four stars!!! It was a four star creature with it's power rating above 100, 000!

Dimensional Titan Minotuar!

Fuck!!!

Felix dashed to the side without thinking straight as all he wanted to do was escape from this dark creature that was no good in movies than real life. It was a living nightmare, one of the only high levelled titanic creatures that moves in herds rather than work solo.

Felix thanked his stars that it was only one that was here. His heart thumped as he watched the minotuar squash humans like bugs. It didn't take long for blood to splatter everyone and for everyone to think the same think...

Who do you think we are? Pests that are supposed to be squashed to death? Run!

Splat! Thud Thud!

Blood continued to splatter around as the creature chased after the escaping players, squashing them to death in an instant.

Felix finally got why they said survive, not complete. He turned into a bolt of lightning as he ran away from the monster behind him. Anyone who played hero would be squashed to death, and Felix wasn't ready to die yet.
