Chapter 41, Ruby Ahmed

It was five o'clock in the morning, but sleep was far from Ruby's eyes. The sunlight entering through the curtains began to illuminate the dark room.

She turned her head and looked at the person beside her. He had been sleeping like this all night with his back to her. Not once did Huzaifa try to approach her or address her. It was as if he was oblivious of her existence.

And it wasn't the first time. For the last several days he seemed to be ignoring her. His distinctive cheerful temperament was lost somewhere. Now and then he often seemed confused and drown in his thoughts. It's as if he was trying to solve a very difficult puzzle on which his life depended.

It had been only three months since their marriage, but Huzaifa's interest in him seemed to have waned. And now he's spending time with her just like a duty.

Was her decision to force him to marry wrong? Did she make a mistake?

After his marriage to Moomal, she could see that Huzaifa was distancing himself from her. But how could she allow this to happen? Huzaifa was the only way she could change her life.

As a child, she lived her life in poverty with her mother. Where her mother worked hard to educate and raise her.

But even after all her hard work, there were days in her life when she had to go to bed hungry. But it was against her nature to kneel before the situation, and she was determined to change it.

At the age of twenty, she stepped into showbiz with the help of her friend, where after five or four years of intense struggle, she finally had the opportunity to make a name for herself in the world.

She was not one of those girls who lost herself in dreams and turned away from reality. She knew that if she wanted to achieve anything in this world, she would have to think with her mind, not her heart where no emotion enters.

And by following all these rules, she was living her life well, where she had all the comforts of the world, everything she needed was now easily available.

But it is said that a human is a slave to his desires, no matter how intelligent a common human may be, at one point he has to kneel in front of his desires. And that time came in Ruby's life. In the shape of Huzaifa.

She met him two and a half years ago during the shooting of a film. There was no shortage of charming faces in the showbiz,

but there was some strange attraction in Huzaifa's personality that enchanted even a practical-minded girl like Ruby.

But it was not the love that shook the earth under her feet. She was only attracted to him, which she managed to control after two or three moments. But Huzaifa was not like that. In the first meeting between the two, she ignored him, but he followed her like a stubborn person he was.

For two years, Ruby ignored him because she was well aware of the curious nature of such a rich man. But during those two years, Huzaifa often spent his time wooing her, and it was during this time that she became acquainted with Huzaifa.

She knew that he was not playing with her. Rather, he longs for a serious relationship with her.

And then she started thinking seriously about it. But over the years, her heart had turned to stone. Despite Huzaifa's efforts, her heart was still not captivated by his charm. She still had no special feelings for Him.

But she knew that Huzaifa belonged to a noble family. And any girl who joins his life can spend her life in luxury.

And after this thought, she decided that she would accept Huzaifa.

And speaking of love, love was only limited to words in her eyes. She lied to him that she liked him too.

After accepting Huzaifa's proposal, everything was going well for two years. Looking at Huzaifa's lifestyle, Ruby was convinced that she had made the right decision. But she did not know that one day Huzaifa would marry that Moomal.

The day she heard the news, she felt hate for her fate. But then Huzaifa told her that his marriage to Moomal was fake, and he still loves her. At first, Ruby refused to accept it, but then, as usual, Huzaifa persuaded her with the help of his stubborn nature.

And so her life returned to its former routine. But this time Huzaifa was acting differently.

At first, she only doubted whether or not Huzaifa felt more than a friend of his cousin. Because whenever he talked about Moomal, the look in his eyes was so special that she couldn't stop herself from feeling insecure.

But now, as each day went by, she began to believe that Moomal was not only a friend to him, but that he had deep feelings for her.

But amazingly, he wasn't aware of it.

She knew the day would come when Huzaifa would become aware of his true love and forget about her. But she could not let that happen, so she started pressuring Huzaifa to marry her. But, despite Ruby's insistence, he was still reluctant to marry her.
