13 Chapter 13 , Zayn (e)

At night the young generation had planned a dinner outside. And now at this time, in a cold winter's night, they were waiting for their meal at a restaurant on the sea, also known as Two Rivers.

They were on the first floor where the deep sea was very close to them. The three men were sitting on their seats while the girls were standing on a wooden fence watching the shoals of fish swimming to the surface to eat the food people were throwing for them.

"I love this place," Maham said happily, looking at the sea.

The light orange light of the restaurant, the cool breezes of the sea and the noise of the waves were creating a different world atmosphere there.

Moomal also loved the place, and whenever Huzaifa brought her and Rabia out for dinner, he would always choose this restaurant because no one would notice him because of the very dim light theme here.

"Thankfully, I left Ahmed at home with my mother, otherwise he would have fallen ill in such cold weather," said Rabia, wrapping her shawl around her more tightly.

"You are not as cold as you think. You have wrapped yourself in a shawl like an old woman. If you keep doing this to yourself, one day Abrar bhaai would leave you and will fall in love with someone else." Maham spoke in a manner of lecturing Rabia.

"My husband has already fallen in love twice, he doesn't have time for the third one. Rabia spoke in a confident tone.

"Twice...? There was someone else before you in his life ?! Maham asked almost screaming in surprise. While Moomal already knew the meaning of what Rabia said, so she just kept smiling quietly.

"What happened Maham! Why are you shouting so much... speak calmly."Ahmar scolded her.

"Why did you shout so loudly? Thankfully, Abrar and others didn't understand you because of the noise.Rabia also fulfilled her duty to scold her.

"Abrar's first love is his country Pakistan, and his second love is his wife, Me. Allah knows what nonsense you were thinking"Rabia clarified her earlier point.

"Oh... so I was scared for no reason ..."Maham sighed.

Moomal who was quietly looking at the sea and listening to both of them. Suddenly, her mobile started ringing, but there was an unknown number on the screen.

She doesn't usually pick up these unknown numbers, but today she made some thought and picked it up.

"Hello... Moomal..." came the masculine voice from the other side. Which, Moomal recognized instantly.

As a child, whenever she returned to the village to her grandfather , Zareena Begum would always take her to meet her paternal uncle.

His uncle had four children, three daughters and a son, Shah Zain, who was the youngest of his three sisters and the darling of the whole family.

Whenever she went there, she was treated better than her cousins, who were much older than her, but Zayn never liked her presence at home. He was only two years older than she was, but his actions made him look less mature than her.

Well, that's how her childhood went.

But over the years, as he entered his youth , Zayn's behavior changed drastically. She began to understand his change of attitude towards her.

She had heard the stories of Zayne's flirty nature and many affairs from the rest of her cousins many times. And since her uncle would occasionally affectionately call her Noonh (Daughter-in-law), she learned that she had been engaged with Zaynn since childhood.

But since she knew this, whenever she went to her uncle's house, she would be a little careful with Zayn, so that Zayn would not have any misunderstanding on her part for any reason. And she hopes that maybe Zayn will never like her that way and break this relationship.

But Zayn, on the other hand, was happy that his fiancée was so shy.

But, thank God, in all those years, Zayn never said or did anything to her that would make the matter worse. As time went on, she realized that Zayn had deep feelings for her, which may not be very sincere, but she knew for sure that he liked her enough that he wanted to marry her.

Despite being engaged with Zayn , she loved Huzaifa, not Zayn. And because of this she began to feel guilty towards Zayn. It was as if she was committing a sin, but she was helpless.

But fate had something different prepared for her, and she knew very well what Zayn must have felt after knowing her marriage to Huzaifa.

And this is exactly the result of his anger, his sudden contact with her at this time.

"Assalam u alaikum , how are you?" Moomal spoke in a soft tone. She was not surprised at how Zayn got her number because she knew he must have gotten it from one of his sisters.

At the question of his well-being, from the other side came the sound of deep breathing, she understood him enough to say that he was very angry at this moment.

"Zayn, are you alright ?"Moomal asked. She knew that this question could make Zayn even angrier, but at his silence she got worried for him.

Maham and Rabbi's attention was now focused on her. They were looking at her with questioning eyes. Moomal smiled lightly, nodded and looked at the sea again. While all her attention was on the phone.

"I didn't call for these nonsensical questions. I want to know that you married him with your consent. Or did it all happen because of your grandfather." Zayn asked this question furiously.

She gulped and started biting her lip to stop herself from crying. This is the first time Zayn has spoken to her in this tone. No matter how bad and stubborn he was, he had never spoken this harshly to her before.

"Zayn... now ... now what's the point of this question..." she said hesitantly, but she knew Zayn won't accept it so easily.

And it turned out to be correct.

"It is I! Who will decide whether there's a point or not. You just tell me whether you married Huzaifa of your own free will or by the will of your grandfather! Because I swear that whoever did this I....."

Someone snatched the mobile from her hand.

And when he looked back in shock, Huzaifa was standing right behind her.

"What would you do?! No, actually, what Can you even do! Give these useless threats to someone else... because I don't give a shit about it! And next time, don't ever bother to call my wife. If you want to fight, call me directly." After speaking in a harsh tone, he hung up.
