Chapter_23

Before long, I realize that Haruka and I are being intimate at the entrance of her place. I hurriedly break our kiss, receiving a dissatisfied mewl from Haruka.

"Why did you stop?" asked Haruka with a pitiful gaze.

I want to hear hug and whisper sweet nothings into her ears when I see her look. However, I resist the urge.

"Let's get inside. We were kissing in public."

Haruka blinks her eyes and looks around. Her face morphs in realization.

"Ah. Right. Let's go, let's go." With an anxious voice, Haruka said so and pushed me inside.

I wryly smile and let her push me inside.

After that, Haruka throws herself to me and continue where we left before.

Since she is eager for more, who am I to refuse? Thus, I eagerly reciprocate her enthusiasm.

Haruka and I hungrily kiss each other. Our tongue tangle in a passionate dance.

As Haruka deeply immerses in the kiss, I carefully bring her to a nearby couch. I sit down while bringing Haruka with me. She sits on my laps without breaking our kiss.

For a while, we indulge ourselves in a passionate kiss.

Then, we stop and pull our heads back. Haruka's face is red, and her eyes are glossy. A string of saliva connects our mouth.

Slurp!

Haruka broke our connection and loudly slurped it.

If she anyone else, I would feel disgusted by what I saw.

However, I did not feel disgusted when Haruka did it.

I guess my feelings for Haruka made me crazy and blind.

"So, where will you bring me? You said that we are going on a trip, right? You haven't told me our destination," I said.

"Hot-spring! Inn!"

I blink my eyes before giving her a pointed look.

So, it is just as I expected.

"What's with that look? Do you dislike it?"

In the beginning, Haruka seemed to be offended by my look. Then, she became anxious.

"I am still a student. I don't have that much money to afford it, you know."

Haruka gives me an indulgent smile as if I am a little kid. She even starts petting my head.

What's with this treatment? I am not a child! Well, I do not mind since it is Haruka, though.

Anyone else will get my left hook to their face…

"It's alright, it's alright. Your Haruka will put out the money for your part too~♡."

"That makes me feel kind of bad."

That was a lie.

I am happy that I can go to a hot-spring in without paying. However, I am not shameless enough to say that loudly.

There is also a part of me that cannot accept it. I guess it is my manly pride rearing its head.

"Don't mind it, don't mind it. I don't have many interests anyways, so I don't have very many other ways to spend the money. It's alright!"

I give Haruka my searching look as I try and fail to find any sign of problems. Haruka calmly meets my gaze. In the end, I get nothing that indicates Haruka force herself.e

"Okay. But, please tell me about this next time."

Right after I said so, Haruka grabs my cheeks and rocks me back and forth while looking straight at me from a very close distance.

"Your girlfriend is a lot richer than you think, Seiji! You should have known this already, right?"

"I know, I know. It is a matter of manly pride, you know."

"Men," said Haruka before playfully scoffing.

In return, I roll my eyes.

We look at each other eyes, deadpanning. Then, we break out into a peal of laughter.

After we calmed down, I ask Haruka.

"Have you prepared for this trip?"

Haruka smugly grins at me as she points somewhere. When I follow her finger with my eyes, I see a Boston bag and a traveling case.

"Huh? I missed that…"

"Anyway, come on, come on! I want to get there as soon as possible~!"

Haruka pulls me from my seat. After I stood up, she gets her luggage and drags me out. She seems so excited.

Well, I can see why. This will be our first trip, and we will have time for ourselves there.

"Alrighty!" exclaimed Haruka after locking her place. Then, she grabbed my hand and said, "Now. Let's go, let's go!"

We join hands in the heat of the moment and leave Haruka's place, getting onto her car.

"From now, it'll be about two hours till we get there…"

"I see," I nodded my head and replied to Haruka's explanation.

Haruka is telling me about our destination. It is a spa town near the sea just outside the prefecture.

"Even if we check in late, it seems like the inn will still let you eat dinner late…"

I nodded my head as Haruka continued to report to me various pieces of information about the inn.

After a little while, the number of things she reports to me strangely lessened. I think it is weird, so I take a sidelong glance at the girl next to me. When I do so, I notice that Haruka is sleepily rubbing her eyes.

Oh, shit!

I forgot about this!

"Haruka, are you really okay with driving? You seem tired…" I anxiously said.

"Hmmm? Don't wo~*Yawn*~rry…"

Don't worry, your foot! You were yawning!

"We should at least stop the car somewhere and have you take a nap."

"Today, I didn't sleep so it's definitely bad~. What should we do~? It's really bad~."

"Woman, don't joke around! This isn't the time to do that! This situation really is bad, after all!"

After coaxing Haruka, we find a supermarket with a large parking area and park Haruka's car there. After that, she sits down in the backseat and loudly yawns, and then she begins to sleep with a cute expression.

I enter into the supermarket to buy a can of coffee and return to the car. When I check on Haruka, I find her look so peaceful that it does not seem like she will wake up.

In the end, I choose to drive the car while letting Haruka sleep.

After we arrived at our destination, I shake Haruka's shoulder from my seat. She is sitting in the passenger seat next to the driver seat, which is used by me.

"Haruka," I called her.

"Ueeh…?" Haruka blinked her eyes a few times and looked around at the surroundings. "Hmm? We're here…?"

"Yeah. Since you seemed so tired, I decided to drive is here."

"Is that so…?"

Haruka does not seem to care about me, a minor, drove us here.

"Come on, it's almost time."

I get out of the car and take our stuff with me.

Haruka sleepily rubs her eyes, still not fully awake, before getting awake and chasing after me, who waits for her in the front of the inn.

Looking over the inn from the outside, I notice that the place is so luxurious. Even though I already expected this, I was not prepared with the real scale.

I indeed have the memory from the alternate future in which I was Hiragi Family's son-in-law, but this feels more real.

It feels like the difference between watching something from advertisements and the real thing.

After checking in without any problems, the inn's staff guides us to our room. It is a Japanese style room about 8 tatami-mats (m²) large. On one side of the room are two chairs with a low table between them.

It is dark right now, but looking outside, it seems like you can see the sea. Admittedly, this inn was built next to the sea. Overall, the aesthetics are outstanding.

"Is it alright if I bring in your meals?"

The staff asked, and Haruka casually replies to her.

"Yes. Please do."

After checking for further instructions, the inn's staff resigns herself from the room.

"Haruka, does this inn has a private hot-spring for each room?"

I already know about this, but I still want to check it out. I do not want to make a fool of myself.

"Yup~. Come here, come here~."

Haruka answered, nodded her head, and grabbed my hand. Then, she pulled me somewhere.

Haruka stops in front of a sliding door and opens it. There are a changing area and a door to what seems to be a bathing area. There is a nice Cypress bath, and also a small open-air bath beyond the glass.

I unintentionally nod to no one. I feel like a connoisseur that approved something and gave it the flying color.

Well, I guess the ten years of memory and experience that I absorbed from my previous trip to the future affected me somewhat.

"It seems like each room has one. Still, there aren't very many rooms, but we can enter it any time we want, you see…"

I nod my head in acknowledgment of Haruka's explanation. Then, I am hugged by Haruka from behind. I feel that she rests her forehead on my back.

"Since I had the chance, I went over the top."

"No wonder you were looking forward to it. So, what do you want next?"

After I asked my question, I feel Haruka's arms around my torso tighten.

"Let's take a dip before eating dinner…"

"Together?"

Haruka does not give me a verbal answer. However, I sense her head nodding while being pressed on my back.
