But during the summoning, he got held back by the real Gods who want him to correct the wrongs of this new fantasy world and gave him unimaginable power to do so.

Going North

I had gone through the other temples of Askai and to sum up my findings, there is definitely something in the north direction. All written by him mentions North... 'Go north', 'North winds' and 'Wanting to see North'.

The mention of North once in a while is okay but he kept mentioning it and other theme was fate/destiny. My theory is he knew about the truth that the world was in time loop. Yet why the world is in time loop, I couldn't find anything on that.

I'm yet to figure out a few things but going north seemed the most obvious course of action. I will start by going north in this world and if I don't find anything, I will go northwards on the other side too.

...

I woke up ready to leave and got dressed and left the inn I had been staying in. I let Layla continue spying on my classmates and other side for now.

I was being spied on for me as I walked down the streets to leave the kingdom of Munioko. On the city gate I was confronted by Amina.

"Daring, aren't we? You know this kingdom wants you dead?" She asked.

"Dead? Both sides want me dead now so who cares?" I responded. Back when I first met her, she almost defeated me if it wasn't for Layla being there. But this time is different. She is not a problem anymore.

She shot a charged arrow at me. I raised my hand a put a shield. The arrow crashed into the shield and created vortex as usual but my shield was too strong for her to do literally anything.

"Weak... Get lost." I swayed my hand created a tornedo that completely destroyed the surrounding area. I kept on with my journey but she didn't stop as she managed to out from under the ruble.

"Just what... How strong hav..." She fainted before she could finish her sentence.

How strong? Even I don't know. All I know is that I'm the forth strongest ascendant. I'm still weak. Despite my level, stats, weapons, stars... Despite all that, I'm not strong enough.

I kept walking wondering when the war would start. Regulators have been trying their best to delay the war for now since my arrival. We found knowledge about the world that was not known before so ascendants had to change plans. Instead of wars, talks had to happen now.

In 4 more days, I have to attend sapphire's funeral, so I have to make it quick. I can't make it all the way to north so I'll go as far as I can and then mark the location and teleport back to the palace.

The journey would be boring as hell so I started flying forward as fast as I could. In past, I could fly for barely few minutes but now I can fly for however long I desire. Not only do I have more control over it, I can adjust the speed and absorb all the elements as I desire. For some reason, mirror of honesty has a weird in-build priority system which went like: Water >Thunder >Fire >Ice >Nature >Earth

But it doesn't matter anymore as I can now absorb all six at the same time.

...

I had been on a journey for a while. I had decided to go northward. I decided on a whim because I had absolutely no leads on this 'truth' thing Kenji talked about. Well, at least for now I want to learn about this world too while others rot back in the kingdom. I hate them for betraying him but... BUT HE WAS SO COOL!! HE APPEARED OUT OF NOWHERE AND STEPPED ON LIAM'S FACE. Oh my God was it so hot!

Ahem... Anyways, two days had passed since I went on the journey and it was long road ahead. I think this world is just like our Earth so I might never reach north pole. It's ridiculous to even think that. But I came across a village. It was a small nameless village with a population of a few.

"May I ask for your ID?" An old man asked. "I'm the elder of the village."

"O-oh! Here." I showed him my school ID and he nodded before handing it back to me.

"Welcome to this small village. Hope you have a good time here." He said and moved out of my way.

I had been walking for hours last couple days so my legs were sore. I wanted to rest badly so I set up a tent by a secluded corner of the village. I had spear of valedictory so I wasn't exactly scared of anyone or anything. I went to sleep as the sun set.

In middle of the night, I heard some noise coming from outside. I got my polearm and peaked out of the tent and noticed some movements. I walked out and got jump-scared by a girl.

"Aiya!" She got surprised too and fell on her butt. "Aiyaya..." She rubbed her butt and stood up. "So, you're the visitor?" She asked with a smile on her face. The girl was wearing a hat and some fancy looking shirt and pants. She was roughly around my age.

"Yes but who are you?" I asked.

"Name's Feishu. I'm from the kingdom of Shulian. I don't live here but I think I should let you know Shulian is the kingdom you are in, right now. I would recommend leaving as soon as possible."

"Why?"

"Currently, the kingdom has started a 10-year plan. Every single individual will be put on trial and send to work with barely any pay and no vacations. King is kind of a disgusting pig... Haiya!" She said in an annoyed tone. "You're lucky I happened to be here and tell you. So, leave before they put you on trial."

"They can't do that...? I just arrived and I haven't even done anything." I said.

"That's the problem! An outsider is a no-no from the start. A spy? A terrorist? They will put you on trial so go west-ward to kingdom of Hughward. Their king's death has allowed the kingdom to be a bit more open but someone killed sapphire so every kingdom is on alert."

"You seem to know a lot?" I was suspecting that she is either scamming me or was an accomplice of some sorts. Maybe she is making me stay while others are working behind me... what if they kidnap me?!

"Hah!? You don't know? I'm Feishu! The crown princess of Shulian." She smiled.

I attacked her immediately with my polearm and she dodged flawlessly.

"Haiya! I'm not trying to attack you. My own life is in danger so help me or leave the kingdom."

"Why should I trust you?" I asked.

"I think I may have intel for a summoned one." She said with a cheeky smile.

"How do you know it's an intel I'd need?"

"Ask me any question, if I know the answer, I'll tell you in the vaguest manner so as to not give away the intel but also tell you enough to get your trust."

"Do you know the truth about this world?" I asked.

"Truth? That is no fun!" She pouted. "There are rumors circulating that all humans will turn to dust and all non-humans would take back the land they once occupied."

"I know both sides are on the brink of waging a war but what do you mean by turning to dust?"

"I don't know." She shrugged and chuckled. For something so grim, she sounded too cheerful.

"Want to help and get more information or leave?" She asked.

"Fine..." I sighed.

She hugged me tightly and cheered. She is too... weird. We slept through the night and the next day we started a journey to mainland Shulian. It was about 5 hour walk from the land when we came across a temple.

"An earth dragon currently resides in this temple always sleeping. I wonder if you can fight it or not." She asked.

"A what-" She grabbed my hand and dragged me into the temple.

The temple was pitch black but I used my fire magic to light the torches in temple. There was absolutely no life in the temple but then we came across the main hall. There was a massive hole in the middle and she held onto my hand and jumped into the hall.

There it was. A massive four legged monster sleeping. The two horns on its sides were maybe twice as me. It was size of an elephant, easy.

"WHO DARE STEP IN MY TEMPLE?!" The dragon roared and stood up. It shook the ground under us. She kept smiling as she looked at the dragon.

"Try to be as offensive as possible. The more damage I take, the stronger I and my team, you, get. The lower the HP, the stronger the attacks." She said.

Spear of valedictory also increases my attack stat as I lose HP so I might become too overpowered with Feishu's ability. I don't think though. Unlike Kenji, I don't have hax abilities and I learned it the hard way when fighting Sapphire. All my friends and even more needed to defeat her so I know I have to be careful.
