Chapter 12 - Shopping

When I arrived at the café where we were meeting, I looked around for Alicia and Melissa among the customers and found them at a table in the center of the café drinking their drinks.

I walked closer to the table and they finally noticed me, however, their eyes were not on me, but on Luna who hid behind me after seeing the two of them.

Melissa then looked at me suspiciously and said.

"Where did you kidnap that girl?"

"I didn't kidnap her."

After replying to Melissa's sarcastic words, I quickly introduced Luna to them.

"This is Luna, she was a Navigator when I was still a cadet in the academy."

Hearing my words, Melissa asked in wonder and slightly surprised.

" Eh, that little girl is the same age as us!?"

"Yep."

Melissa didn't seem to expect it, after all, most people who saw Luna for the first time would have thought she was a 12-year-old. Luna then tugged on my sleeve and whispered.

"You didn't blackmail them into marrying you, did you?"

Alicia said that with a puzzled face, I then replied in a slightly troubled tone.

"Well, I know. But the problem is that this girl will be living in the warehouse I use to store my Mecha, I plan to make her a room there. That's fine, right?"

Alicia nodded as if she had finally understood.

"That's fine with me, what about you, Melissa?"

"As long as she doesn't bother us I don't really care."

I then pulled Luna in front of me, and had her introduce herself this time.

"I'm Lunaria Kasandra, since you're Hiro's wife, just call me Luna. It's nice to meet you and I hope to have your trust from now on."

Her introduction was quite normal, I thought she would introduce herself arrogantly like she usually does.

"Nice to meet you Miss Luna, I'm Melissa. And next to me is my master, Lady Alicia."

" Hello."

Melissa and Alicia both answered her self-introduction with friendly greetings. Now that the matter was settled, I thought it was time to tell her to leave.

I then returned my gaze to Luna, and I could see her smiling smugly. She then turned to Alicia and Melissa before saying.

"So, Miss Alicia and Miss Melissa. I can take you to some nice fashion stores. I'll show you where I often come here to shop."

"I doubt that."

I mean, this girl wears a lab coat that's bigger than her you know? She''s also just wearing a miniskirt and a casual shirt underneath that coat.

"Sounds good to me."

"Me too."

Seeing Alicia and Melissa agree, I said.

"Come on, you two. Don't be fooled by her, I'm sure she just wants a treat."

Hearing my words, Luna pointed at me angrily.

" You are so rude Hiro, I'll prove to you that I'm not lying."

She then turned towards Alicia and Melissa before saying politely.

"Please follow me, Miss Alicia and Miss Melissa. I will escort you."

She started walking while guiding Alicia and Melissa to follow her, looks like today is gonna be a really tiring day.

I let out a long sigh and followed them.

Not long after, I realized that I was wrong. As it turns out, Luna does know a lot about the good shops in this mall, I thought she was just lying to show off, but it seems like she kept her word.

The girls looked happy every time they went into the store and tried on new clothes, even Alicia who was usually very serious was having fun. Alicia was especially happy when she tried on new dresses, seems like she really likes dresses. She always wears dresses after all.

While Melissa looks very happy when she tries on new jewelry, she especially looks very happy with rings and necklaces. And Luna, she looks happy with whatever she tries on. They seem to get along very quickly, it seems like shopping can bring girls together quickly.

I'm happy to see the girls having fun, but the problem is that I'm already exhausted. Man, they've been shopping for 2 and a half hours and they're still not done. I just want to go home, I really miss the couch at home right now.

As I was walking with the girls, I remembered something, and decided to tell them to go first. I then walked to the shop we passed earlier, and entered it.

"Can I help you, sir?"

I then gave the employee my wedding ring.

"It's like this, but I want the DZ logo in a different color."

"May I know what color?"

"I want two, silver and black. Can you do that?"

"Yes, sir. Please follow me to the counter to discuss the details."

I did this because I realized when I saw Melissa this morning that she wasn't wearing the same wedding ring as me and Alicia. The ring she was wearing did not have our family logo engraved on it, which is why I decided to make one for her as well and match the color to her hair color. I also did the same with Alicia.

After I gave the employee the necessary things including the cost of making it, she said I could pick it up within 5 days. After that, I went to look for the girls.

I sent Alicia a message asking where she was, but she didn't reply. I thought something had happened, but soon she replied to me saying.

"Sorry, I was too excited about picking out a dress to see your message. Now we're heading to the cafe to rest, meet you there."

After seeing her message, I replied with "Okay" and headed to the café Alicia had mentioned.

After a while, I thought they were waiting for me at the cafe. But instead, I found them on the way to the cafe. And I could see the three of them arguing with two men, and the loudest one was Luna. Thanks to her voice many other visitors were looking at them.

Honestly, it looked really cute. Seeing her small body like that arguing with 2 guys who were much bigger than her, somehow it looked really cute, if you ignore her angry expression of course. I want to look at it for a little longer, but I don't think that's a good idea.

Actually, even looking at the situation from afar I can already understand what's going on. It's a classic thing when there's a group of pretty girls walking around outdoors.

I then walked towards them, and when I got close Luna noticed my presence.

"Ah! You've finally come! Hurry up and beat these two up!"

Goddamit, I just got here and she just told me to beat people up. I just shook my head and asked Alicia.

"What's going on?"

"The usual thing."

" Let's go then. Stop arguing, Luna. Let's go."

I then walked between her and the two men, and pushed her to Alicia and Melissa's side. As a result, Luna said unhappily.

I then returned my gaze to the person I had twisted his arm around and said as kindly and casually as possible.

"Alright, mate. I'll give you a choice. One, you can try to fight and I'm gonna break your bone before you realize it's already broken. Second, I'll release your hand, and you'll go quitely and peacefully. After that, we consider this thing is never happen, how's that?"

He nodded quickly after hearing my words.

"Mate, if you just nod like a f*cking a donkey, I don't know what to do."

"I.... choose the second one."

"Good."

I then let go of his hand, and he immediately fell to his knees. Seeing that, his friend immediately helped him.

"Well, thanks for being a show-off for me in front of my wife. Adios."

After saying that, I then turned around and walked towards the girls. The moment I arrived in front of them, Luna immediately grinned.

"Well then, you should have done that earlier."

"Forget about it, let's go. I'm thirsty."

Luna chuckled before turning around and walked back, Alicia and Melissa also asked me.

"Are you okay?"

"You're pretty good, huh? You can do something like that."

"I'm fine, that wasn't even enough to warm up."

After saying that, I then extended my hand to both of them.

"Let me bring you your shopping bags."

The two of them gave it to me after saying "thank you", Luna also told me to carry her bags, but I didn't.

I only brought her groceries when she said that she agreed to help me repaint my Mecha later. Although I don't know if she can do it or not.

After that, we decided to go home. I also dropped Luna off at her apartment and promised to pick her up tomorrow morning, after I finished arranging the room for her.
