"Kaiser, you're not serious, right?" questioned Fubuki, initially doubtful, but once she turned around and saw the grin on Kaiser's face, that was all that was needed to clarify everything.

"Don't you care about Lily?"

Kaiser's response was, "Of course, I care, but I'm not going to give up my life so easily," and at that very moment, Beast King was assaulting a B-class Hero guy not too far away from Lily.

"Humm, you coward, if you don't want to do it, then I'll go by myself," Fubuki uttered those words with resolve, but Kaiser, who was still holding Fubuki's body in his arms, purposefully prevented her from moving forward.

"Are you sure you can save Lily in your current state? I think you will just die in vain," After listening to Kaiser's logical arguments, Fubuki became speechless.

When Fubuki was at a loss for what to do, Kaiser offered a solution, "How about we both work together? I'm sure we can beat this monster."

After hearing the suggestion, Fubuki initially sneered in contempt, but she was also aware of her situation, so she reluctantly nodded her head in agreement.

But what Kaiser said after that caused Fubuki to furrow her brows, "of course, my help isn't free."

"You shameless bastard is seeing Lily alive not enough for you!"

Kaiser didn't seem to care and instead began admonishing Fubuki, saying, "yes or no, if you don't hurry up, the monster will kill Lily."

When Fubuki first caught sight of Beast King, who had just finished brutally devouring the class B guy alive and was slowly making his way over to Lily, making her eyes widen, and her heart began to race.

Until, at long last, Fubuki drew a long breath before opening her mouth to ask, "alright, what do you want in return?"

But Kaiser didn't answer right away. Instead, he started releasing Fubuki from his embrace and said with a reassuring smile on his face, "we can discuss this later. We have to hurry before it's too late."

After that, Kaiser wasted no time in beginning his dash towards Beast King, who was now standing in front of Lily. In the meantime, Fubuki could only snort icily and began to follow Kaiser from behind.

"It's over... am I going to die?" I muttered to myself in disappointment as I realized I had no choice but to stand there helpless, even raise my weapon as I stood on the ground, petrified in embarrassment, as the monster in front of me was about to grab me with its sharp claws.

"I'm sorry, Fubuki-sama. I can't repay all the kindness you've given me, and even at this time, I can't make you proud."

As I slowly started to close my eyes, for some reason, the image of Kaiser's face began to come into my mind, and as soon as it did, I felt sadder because of it.

Suddenly, I could feel a strong wind crashing towards me, and at first, I thought I was dead, and now this monster was tearing my body apart.

But then I heard a familiar man's voice in my ear, my previously tense heart began to gradually relax, and I worked up the nerve to open my eyes.

"Hey Lily, are you that scared to the point of closing your eyes?"

The first thing I saw wasn't my body being torn to pieces. Rather, it was the back of a white-haired man standing in front of me. When I saw him, I immediately exclaimed in surprise:

"Kaiser! What are you doing here?"

I thought Kaiser was joking when he said, "You better get your weapons out now, or we'll both die," but then I noticed that he was currently holding back the monster's sharp and enormous claws.

When I quickly pulled out my three-section staff, the monster that referred to himself as Beast King began to roar in annoyance.

Beast King said with blood still dripping from his mouth, making him appear even more menacing, "*Growl... what an annoying human," and he immediately attacked with his other claws swiftly.

I wanted to help at first, but Kaiser seemed to be able to dodge Beast King's attack with ease. Kaiser's unusual battle suit could easily withstand these claw attacks even when the monster's claws left deep marks on the asphalt and cut into the surrounding buildings.

Suddenly, the body of Beast King stopped moving, and shortly after that, I could see iron rods and long pipes beginning to fly at high speed toward this monster from all directions.

It didn't take long for these things to start penetrating Beast King's body, which was riddled with holes. As soon as he regained control of his body, Beast King retreated hastily to get some space.

But before Beast King could take a breath, Kaiser, who was in front of me then, started hurtling towards Beast King at an unreasonable speed. With a long blade that emerged from the elbow of his battle suit, Kaiser cut off Beast King's right arm in a smooth and seamless motion.

"arghhkk... fuck... you damn human... how dare you..." As a steady stream of dark red blood continued to flow from the wound in Beast King's right arm, he began to howl in agony.

"What's wrong, aren't you the king of beasts? I'm sure a small wound like this won't matter to you, right?" Kaiser sneered while wearing a wide grin on his face. Without waiting for a response from Beast King, Kaiser made a slashing motion once more, and this time Beast King's left leg was cleanly severed from his body.
