like a cheat if you ask me, but what the hell. I'll hibernate until the system is fully upgraded that way it'll feel like no time has passed at all; I say in anticipation.

I fall unconscious in the obsidian armchair as I await the system to finish upgrading itself and Nephelium to finish merging with my soul.

It's been 48 hours since James and Nephelium started the merging process and it's just about time for James to regain consciousness. Little does James know that the disappearance of Nephelium will not go unnoticed in the world of Tartarus. For Nephelium was not the only immortal soul in this world and he had many enemies that have been trying to kill him for millennium. So now unknowingly Nephelium has put a target upon James's back making him the new target of these nefarious beings who seek nothing else but his complete and utter destruction.

I drowsily open my eyes.

Uhhhhhhhhhh, my body feels so sore, I stretch as I stands up from the armchair. That was probably the best rest anybody could ever wish for, I wonder what all has changed with my system, and if Nephelium managed to merge with me, I say to myself as I pull up my status screen.

What the hell?! I have a title now? And I finally have something under both magic and luck. What are these innate skills and ability though? System????, I start shouting in excitement.

Damn, that's right you did mention becoming an admin, so you and the animus just merged, and you became the main consciousness? I ask as I start to realize the benefits I have now gained.

(That is correct. Now to answer your previous questions. When you agreed to merge with me you officially become my successor, which then generated the title you currently have. Secondly now that the system has upgraded it has been able to fully understand both your magic and your luck stats. To put it simply after merging with me you ended up having the ability to have infinite magic or mana, since before you didn't possess the ability to use magic. But it's also dependent on how strong your soul is, if you try to use too much mana and your soul isn't strong enough you'll cause damage to your soul and it'll take quite a while for your soul to heal. As for your luck, it seems you had this blessing the whole-time, but the system wasn't able to identify it, I believe it's because of this blessing that I was able to find your soul and proceed with reincarnating you. Also I believe that due to this blessing you ended up here on this hidden floor and ended up meeting me).

Seriously? Is that even possible? How can someone have infinite magic? Doesn't that break the rules of existence or something, I exclaim in utter disbelief.

(Well, it is surprising for sure, but I'm sure in the infinite multiverse you're not the only one that has infinite magic. But as of right now you're still pretty killable, so even if you have infinite magic if you get killed it won't really make a difference. What you need to do it evolve more and that way your soul will grow stronger and evolve into an immortal soul. Then you'll really be a force to be reckoned with.)

Ahhh, I was wondering why my soul rank says mortal when you had said that I'd end up with an immortal soul. I'm guessing my body isn't strong enough to hold an immortal soul within it so that's why I need to evolve in order for my soul to also evolve, I say as I rub my chin deep in thought.

(Correct, and as you evolve, your system will also evolve with you, providing you with additional information and it also might have the possibility to have extra features to it).

Okay I understand now, I guess I'm going to have to get stronger as fast as possible if I want to make it so no one can kill me again. Well that covers those new parts of my status list, now let's see what these other three are all about, I say after digesting all the information so far.

Blessing of Fortuna - Blessed by the Goddess of Fortune, the bearer of this blessing will always have luck on their side and be able to pull off the impossible.

Genesis - Granted to the bearer by way of succession, this innate ability allows the user to create anything their mind can come up with and their magic ability can handle.

Creation - The active skill of the innate ability Genesis, used to create whatever the bearer of the innate skill desires.

This…... This is way to OP to be real, it's like I'm the protagonist of some kind of story or something. There's no way this can be an actual thing, can it? I stutter in disbelief.

(It can, the Creation skill is only limited by the bearer's magic, which you've circumvented, and their imagination. Speaking of one's own imagination, it is directly tied to your intelligence stat, so the higher your stat the more detailed you can make something. So, if your stat isn't high enough it's not like you can go and make a planet or something. You'll first have to have a high enough Intelligence stat if you want to make anything outrageous.)

Oooooh ok, I gotcha, it makes sense that there would be a condition in order to use this kind of reality shattering ability. So, since my stat is only at 70 right now, I wonder what I'd be able to do with the creation skill, I muse as I get lost in thought.

(Well, you can use it to make Rank F and E skills to add to your repertoire. Or you could make a dungeon that can spawn monsters for you to farm for monster cores and loot. In fact, since you're my successor you now hold dominion over this entire Crypt. But for now, you can only control this floor and floor one, since you aren't a high enough rank to control the others.)

Really?! I can end up controlling this entire Crypt, aren't there like one hundred floors or something like that? I ask in shock.

(Indeed, there are One Hundred floors and once you have control over the one hundredth floor, you'll be able to leave this crypt and venture into the Shadow Lands outside.)

So, I'm trapped in here until I clear the one hundredth floor? But it will take years! I was hoping to go outside right now, I reply disheartened.

(Unfortunately, that is not possible, only by clearing the one hundredth floor will you be of a sufficient rank that you shouldn't be killed by anyone outside of this crypt. While in this crypt you're safe from anyone outside that would mean you harm.)

What do you mean by mean me harm? I haven't done anything to anyone outside of this crypt for them to want to hurt me. And all the people I knew when I was a human think I'm dead, I say in confusion.

(Well, I didn't remember it at the time due to my excitement but, after merging I remembered that there are beings similar to me that want me dead in order to take my innate ability Genesis. Now that you have the ability, they'll have to kill you and devour your soul in order to acquire it.)

What do you mean you forgot that there will be people that want to kill me!! That's something pretty important and that you should probably remember!! I shout in anger.

(Calm down calm down, it's not like we can change it now. We'll just have to make you the strongest being on Tartarus. He-he-he-he)

I groan, you're lucky that I was already planning on being the strongest already, at least now that I have you, I'll be able to get stronger faster and also achieve new heights that I wouldn't have been able to reach otherwise. So, I'll just have to get over it and get as many benefits out of you as I can, so you better not complain and start getting used to being as useful as possible, I say exasperatedly.

Alright, so you said I can use creation to make skills, right? Well let's see what skills I can make right now. I'm going to need some skills to help make me a stronger fighter and also give me a better defense and maybe some good support skills too, James decides.

(I suggest a good shield spell, a healing support skill and a good offense skill).

Hmmm, a shield spell huh? Let's see, it should be versatile yet strong. I want to be able to either cover one small area or make it cover a larger area. Ok I think I have a pretty good idea for a shield spell, now let's think of a good healing spell. I should probably make it an area of effect type spell in case I actually get some allies in the future. As for an attack spell, it needs to be strong and versatile also, James mutters to himself like a crazy person.

Hey Neph, will you be able to help me create these three spells? That way they can be the best they could possibly be since I don't have any experience creating anything after all, I ask coming out of my crazy ramblings.

Well saying Nephelium every single time is such a hassle, so I decided to shorten it is all.
