Chapter 48: The Horizon of New Worlds

The light from the collapsing Abyssal Fortress consumed the void, washing over us in a radiant flood. I shut my eyes against its brilliance, clutching the Heartseed tightly as it pulsed in synchrony with the fading echoes of the Guardian's words. 

When the light dimmed, we stood in a vast expanse of nothingness. The ground beneath us shimmered with a soft, iridescent glow, an ethereal plane stretching endlessly in all directions. Above, the sky was a swirl of galaxies and nebulas, a breathtaking display of the cosmos. 

"What is this place?" Ember whispered, her flames barely a flicker in the stillness. 

Silvermane's ears twitched, her gaze scanning the horizon. "It feels… untouched. A place beyond the reach of time and Corruption."
