Ch. 6

The next day

Aether's Pov

Ugh.. Academy again.. I hate studying, plus I wasn't able to get that book yesterday.. I should perhaps check it out later in that old abandoned library...

I then walk towards the Academy's gate and went inside, as I was walking in the hallway, I didn't notice that a girl suddenly bumped onto me, she fell on the ground and I looked at her and was about to apologize:

"A- sorr-"

I was cut off when the girl started whining

"O-ouch! It hurts.. why did you push me?.. I didn't do anything.."

What the heck? I was confused.. suddenly I was pushed out by the crowd who helped her get up I clearly didn't push her.. or did this body did? Stupid body doing its own thing. ugh, I will get into trouble because of this..

"Hey! Just because she is someone weak doesn't mean you can push her!"

"Yeah! That's right!"

The Crowd started saying mean things to me, that when I saw, behind them, the girl earlier who I bumped onto, she was smirking. That evil Bitch! Before I know it, I jumped onto her and started smacking her or the face! I couldn't control my anger, I.. don't know why? I didn't want to hurt her, but why is this body acting on its own?.. is it, the real Aether?.. I was stopped when someone suddenly pulled me away by my shoulder, it was Ling, the former knight, I suddenly felt annoyed when he stopped me, I looked at him with an annoyed face:

"Let me go."

I said sternly, but I can feel His hand gripping harder on my shoulder, it hurts, it really does, this is the worse.. I hate.. pain.. before I knew it, tears started falling from eyes.. what the heck?.. why am I crying? Stop it Aether.. stop crying, ugh don't embarrass me.. just please stop.. I then felt Ling withdraw his hand form my shoulder, before he can look at me, someone suddenly started carrying me, he covered my eyes with a blanket, and I can feel him running away.. what?.. who is this?.. well.. I just don't want to cry infront of everybody else ever again..

Minutes later, I felt him stop running and opened a door, he removed the blanket from my eyes, it was Aaron.. were back to the room we were in yesterday.. this abandoned old room.. they seemed to clean it ever since I told them to yesterday. I Smiled at him.

"Thank you Aaron.."

My eyes were still a little puffy because of earlier but I still felt ashamed, that was so embarrassing! And that girl earlier.. ugh I swear if I see her again..

"Uhm Aether... Are you ok? I've been talking since earlier.."

Aaron said as he tap me on the forehead, I was completely lost in thoughts..

"I-im ok.. sorry to worry you.. I was just embarrassed from earlier.. by the way, where are the others?.."

"Oh they're busy inventing! By the way, I learned how to bake cookies! They were completely easy! Hehehehehheh!"

"Oh that's great.."

I can't help but smile at him again, he was like my sunshine..
