Chapter 5 Berserk

The city of ether was filled with dark energy, they used ores from the land of Oden to nullify the darkness and make it a city of light. The warrior population from the land of Oden first moved to the City of Ether. Lucifer was named King of that city. His people gave him a new name "The Sun God."

Within a few months, the city of Ether was turned into a beautiful city, there was a throne made of special ores and glass that reflected light on top of it was The Sun god meditating. The throne was not only majestic and beautiful but also was made in a way that helped to generate more light essence from self.

Some of the Ghosts that flew during the siege of Ether reached different Ghost cities and informed their king of the new human king. They spoke highly of him and informed him that he was capable of bringing rain made of light which shocked the Kings and made them Vary of the Sun God.

As the black clouds covered the sky the stones which were dropped by eagles looked like the power of Lucifer. As they were fighting and running they did not realize that it was done with the help of Eagles.

However, due to that misunderstanding, other Ghost Kings started making preparations for defense and also dropped the Idea of attacking the city of Ether.

"My lord, the preparations are over. We have successfully fortified the city," said Karl.

"The waterways and various food sources are successfully acquired," said Roan.

"Good Work, Both of you." said The Sun God

Karl was Lucifer's right-hand man he was the person whose life was saved by Lucifer in their first raid. After that, he grew more devoted to him and light magic and eventually surprised all others to become his commander.

Roan on the other hand was Lucifer's nephew he was witty, and smart and also did not see Lucifer as a god but admired him for his feats.

"Roan I want you to go back to the village and train more people there. We need to increase our numbers. Currently, no one is attacking us because they are playing the waiting game they are waiting for us to attack other cities and make some losses. Before they realize that we are not strong enough to do that we need to make this city a blessed land." said Lucifer.

"I understand, I will leave as soon as the dawn breaks," said Roan.

"Karl, What did you find from investigating the Ghosts?" asked Lucifer.

"Two of them joined us, one of them told us about the way we can control ghosts, and the other one told us details about other kings and their weaknesses," said Karl.

"Give me the details," said Lucifer.

"Their weakness lies in their consciousness. In the light chamber, we can wear out their defense and once that is done we can insert our will into them. By doing that they would act according to our will. However, their power would depend on the quality and strength of the will. As for the other Kings, two of them possess powers of hallucination, and the third one is capable of possessing even entities with light magic. Also, the light magic is not that lethal on the third King." said Karl.

"Did the ghost tell you the reason for that?"

" Yes it is said the third Ghost was a light sage, however for more power he turned into a Ghost," said Karl

"Does he have any weakness?"

"I'm sorry, the ghost did not know of it."

"Okay, put the other 5 ghosts in light chambers and once their defense is gone call me, We will use them to spread misinformation," said Lucifer.

" As you order My lord," said Karl.

With that, both Karl and Roan left the chambers. Soon light chambers were created and the ghosts were pushed inside it. Once they entered they started screaming however nothing changed, their screams did not bother anyone after a few hours the screams stopped and then Lucifer was called.

Lucifer entered the light chamber and looked at Ghosts he slowly inserted his thoughts into their subconscious and through that, they entered their consciousness. He gave ghosts a story where their city was destroyed by other ghost tribes and to take revenge they surrendered to the humans. Now their mission was to visit three cities and spread misinformation and to also connect Intel. This aspect of will was the quality. A logical will would be too hard to question. The power aspect of the will lies in the conviction of thoughts. The person who put his will need to believe this story and that was easy for Lucifer as he could hypnotize the self. So he hypnotized himself into believing the story before coming to chambers. Once the wills were created his hypnotized state ended and he started seeing reality as it was.

The ghosts bowed down to Lucifer and started moving towards different cities. Three of them were responsible for spying in all three cities whereas two of them were sent to the city of the third Ghost King to spread misinformation.

"Bring the two ghosts who wanted to join us," said Lucifer.

Soon both of them were present. They gently bowed down in front of him. However the next second both of them attacked him. One of them created an energy blast while the other one created an illusion of mirrors. Lucifer was seeing hundreds of them attacking at the same time. The attack landed on Lucifer but got absorbed. The ghost looked at Lucifer in shock. The trick that he used was only heard in legends. In this technique, the user was capable of absorbing the dark energy and then converting it into light energy.

"It was a nice plan to give out correct information to get close to me. But it was foolish of you to think you can kill me," said Lucifer with it he penetrated their consciousness and put a will in them.

"Karl, you failed your duty. Their information on wills was wrong they were tricking us. There was a secondary will in the Ghosts a will which would get activated as soon as they reach the city of ghosts. We are lucky that I found something amiss and chose to destroy their total consciousness before inserting my will. Otherwise, instead of spies we would have sent ghosts with our Intel to other cities." said Lucifer/.

Karl got on his knees and said " I deserve death, my lord."

Splash, Lucifer shot a bream and it penetrated his skull and with that Karl died.
