205 Uncanny Encounter

Hi there after a long hiatus, MasterY's here. I don't think anyone remembers me or reads this anymore :( but I apologize for the long time, but I'm back for the moment.

'Hey, go easy on him, no killing please.'

Liza remarked while letting out a sigh, as Jake charged with an open flick knife in his hand. Red raging eyes, along with huffing crazily like a mad hound. His condition was strangely terrible, aside from going crazy.

All that just to revenge after getting 'secretly' beat up by Alex? He and Liza never thought he would actually do anything this crazy, especially in front of an enormous crowd. He was doing it now and carelessly in front of so many students!

Alex's disappointed eyes followed Jake coming towards him, while hearing gasps from the surrounding crowd.

He looked completely helpless. Even the narcissistic John sprinted after him as he charged, but couldn't bring him down in time.

"Argh!! I will fuuucking kill you!!"

Jake raised his hand above his head, seriously planning to stab Alex's face. It was absolutely crazy.

He clearly no longer cared about the consequences, easily ruining it just by pulling a knife in public, let alone attacking someone with it.

It happened quickly, but everyone surely witnessed the whole thing, including Anna, who gasped in shock and was startled as she saw Jake sprinting with a knife towards her darling.

"N-No!!"

She unconsciously shouted and tried her best to pull Alex with the hand he was holding hers with, but he was absolutely stuck to the ground, not even moving an inch.

Unbrotherly standing while the knife was swiftly moving towards his face...

But Jake was close enough to his hand reach and Alex just took that chance to get back this crazy man to reality.

SLAAAP!

With no one noticing or even seeing a thing, Alex moved his left hand so fast, sending it flying towards Jake's face! It was unrealistically a fast blow.

Smacking the hell out of his face, making him immediately collapse to the side in shock! The knife fell as well. Fortunately, before hurting anyone.

"What are you doing? Have you lost your mind?"

Alex softly uttered with a calm voice while everyone just processed what happened. No one actually saw how Alex's hand quickly moved, smacking the shit out of Jake's face, making him lose balance and fall to the side.

He didn't slap him too strongly, following Liza's advice. Alex, of course, didn't want to go to prison either.

Hearing Alex's coy voice, he glanced up with shocked eyes, holding onto his cheek with his hand and feeling his ears ringing from the hit.

He received a powerful slap, which finally pulled him back to reality. He stunnedly gazed around him, finally realizing people snapping pictures and recording videos, some smiling and smirking, while the others watched in awe.

"Huh?.. Hey!! You dumb fuck. Are you fucked in your mind??"

After realizing what just happened, the blonde John, who was now low-key a servant to Alex after he enslaved him following Liza's advice again, rushed closer, immediately sending a kick to Jake's back, slamming his body into the ground again.

He was quite pissed off, too.

"Stop it"

John was about to land more kicks to Jake's face out of irritation, but was stopped by Alex's command. Things were a little too much complicated to control now.

'What should I do now?... He tried to assault me and the worst part is people saw it and even recorded it on their phones.'

Although he wasn't hurt, Alex was getting a little bothered. He never had such things to face in the past. Definitely, no murder attempts, but now... He had to perfectly deal with it, otherwise getting detained by the authorities once the video of them gets online.

He wouldn't probably face any serious charges, but he might get expelled too, as his college wouldn't want a bad reputation.

It looked too bad to be fixed now normally.

'Well, it's easy for me, but I don't want to waste mana! I already feel tired... You should have a ton of sex if you make me do this...~'

Liza said in a lazy tone, and was low in energy, although it was just the morning. However, Alex could tell she was just acting to get him to play around more!

'Anyway, I don't think we should ditch this asshole. I know he is a piece of shit, but it seems we screwed his life after beating him up. I know I'm a succubus, but I'm not a bad person! I can use— '

"What's going on here?"

Before Liza could finish her sentence, a manly voice resounded all over the place, more like a thunderbolt. A big man with broad shoulders like a mountain and a tall, giant-like body pierced through the circling crowd and came to the middle.

'Oh! Isn't this the overly fun basketball team leader? Didn't you promise him to play basketball? He looks pissed off, though.'

As the big guy walked past the crowd, Liza recognized his mature face. With the brown curly hair and blue eyes, wearing a white basketball jersey. Everyone knows this person, Tony, the team captain!

"Ah, sorry for the fuss this morning, we just had a little dispute, but everything is alright now. "

Alex was more clueless now as another lawless beast came into the scene. He didn't really want to spend more time there and just wanted to end everything as quickly as possible.

"Huh? Aren't you that handsome, quiet freshman... Alex, right? I was looking for you... You are such a dishonest person! Where's the basketball match you promised to play with us last week??"

Unlike what he thought, Tony actually didn't pay that attention to Jake after he recognised Alex. Instead, the serious look on his face faded away and was replaced with a softer and childish one.

He was looking like a fearless tiger that was going to rip apart anything in front of him, but now reminded of his favourite sport and passion became like a happy kitten.

He was satisfied with encountering Alex again, as he thought he wouldn't see him ever again.

Obviously, he wasn't the kind who would force others to play with him his favourite game. So he carried on with the playful tone.

"Oh... Yeah, I remember, but as you can see, I'm not that free lately. "

Alex smiled lightly after shifting his focus to the basketball team leader. He actually forgot about his promise, but couldn't help but come up with excuses in this situation.

He also intentionally glanced back and forth at Jake, who was still sitting on his butt on the ground, holding his cheek while his head was still ringing. Still processing what happened just now!

But his pathetic looks caught Tony's attention, and he began scanning his surroundings to understand what was going on.

"I see you're in some trouble now, handsome guy. "

Tony hummed while walking towards Jake. He could understand the situation without even thinking, especially with a knife still on the ground for next to Jake.

"But I'm glad everyone is okay and not hurt"

Tony was trying to calm things down, and it seemed to work well. He was a popular figure, so people held him in a high status. He was also known to be a playful and righteous man, totally likeable.

While everyone was still watching, he went and picked the knife. Squatting down near Jake and moving his face close to his ear.

"Pitiful human...You're becoming my favorite toy. Show me more suffering and pain!"

With a wide smirk on Tony's face, he softly whispered into Jake's ear, finally bringing back some of his senses. Enough 'sense' to get him to raise his eyes and see the familiar terrifying beast in front of him... The one who has been setting up his agony.

'Huh'

Liza and Alex couldn't hide their surprise and confusion. Although everyone wasn't able to see or hear Tony's devilish side, the two definitely did.

Aside from that, a faint reddish aura was emitting from his body to confirm their suspicion!

However, Tony shortly stood up with the knife in his hand and changed his creepy smile into a more mild one. His devilish aura also disappeared, and he looked at Alex and proceed to talk.

From shock, Alex was quickly able to restore his poker face in order not to let out any information on this mysterious man.

"I apologize for what happened on his behalf. I personally know Jake, and he has been going through some hardships and family problems lately. His mom, sadly, is in a coma..."

As his innocence and righteousness could ever get, Tony addressed everyone with a loud yet gentle voice. Trying to get some sympathy for Jake, who was unexplainablely trembling while looking down in fear...

'This guy is into some shit... I feel something strange about him too... Just play along"

Liza remarked as Alex watched carefully Tony's face as he was giving a brilliant speech in front of everybody. Trying to get people to feel sorry for Jake and it was working!

'Yeah...'

But only two weren't buying his shit! Alex went into 'cautious mode' after accidentally discovering the real face of the bulky basketball-loving man. But he decided to play along for now.

Smiling like an angel and nodding along with Tony. Trying to show he was fine and willing to forgive and forget what happened.

'I would have used some memories manipulation to get you out of trouble, but I'm sensing something off with this 'huge' asshole'

Not just hypocrisy and evil what Liza sensed of Tony, but also something even more dangerous and mysterious.... So she was cautious about using her magic this time.

Fortunately, Tony was getting the favor of everyone and most of them started feeling sorry and bad for the pitiful young man. Of course, after several minutes of the basketball leader's empathetic speech.

Even some started deleting the recordings and photos they took. That displayed how influential and powerful Tony was...

Of course, not everyone was going to obey him, but that lowered the amount of videos and photos to be posted online. Also lowers the amount of posters. That was already a great achievement.

And strangely, there were some students recording still, but they seem to be Tony's club members. Sharing his outstanding speech, can also outshine what Jake did.

"Now I will ask everyone to join their classes. It's starting shortly. Thanks and sorry for the fuss!"

Tony finished talking, and the crowd started slowly leaving as lessons time was starting soon. Tony turned around and walked back towards Alex with a smile.

He also instructed some of his club members to go carry Jake to the infirmary, as he was bleeding and suffering from bruises on his face and body caused by John's kicks.

"Sooo... When's our little game?"

Tony stood in front of Alex with his towering figure and a smirk on his face. He looked in a good mood, however, his smug quickly faded.

After Alex raised his head up and looked at him dead in the eye...His eyes slightly glowed red and anyone could tell he was someone you shouldn't approach with a smirk.
