Soon, Adam arrived at the apartment and there he saw troy and his gang laughing leisurely with each having their food.

Before, they barely got any food as they could kill only one rabbit a day, but 3 days ago, their total kill increased by a lot after buying a sword with their hard-earned money.

Through that sword, they can now easily penetrate and kill the rabbit that they trapped, which usually take them hours just to suffocate it. This led their earnings to rise exponentially.

Lately, they could hunt over 10 rabbits a day and live a normal life, with enough food on their table and the likes...

Due to this, they are extremely grateful to Adam as, without him, they might be living and sleeping in the slum by now.

Hence, when they saw Adam standing on the door, they straightaway ran off to him with their arms open, aiming to hug Adam, but alas, Adam avoided it...

After some chatter with Troy and gangs, they then went around the City and bought some necessities, even wants.

Adam now considered Troy and the gang to be his friend since he knew already their personalities and knew that they were not bad people.

Hence, when the night comes, Adam asks them a question which bothers him since before...

"Say, why is it that common people like you don't have any fighting capability? You don't even have an affinity with magic nor martial skills? ", Adam asked confusedly as in World of Luck, only Royalties had an ability when in fact, this world was blessed with natural magic, so why do common people couldn't access it?

After hearing the question, the gang's face turned sullen which made Adam more curious about the situation.

"As you can see, when we practiced even the simplest martial arts or swordsmanship, our body would hurt like heck and it was intolerable so we chose to give up learning any battle styles, as even our ancestors who tried for years didn't achieve any positive result...", Troy paused then take a breather before continuing

"Hence, we tried using magic but fate was bitter, we didn't have an affinity on even the 4 common elements, therefore we chose to give up again, and lived our life terribly, But that was only until recently as four years ago.. ", Troy paused again then looked at Adam intimately...

Adam felt a bit uncomfortable at Troy's gaze so he asked stutteringly...

"th..then?"

Troy replied. ...

"four years ago, Chosen appeared then one of the common people was enslaved by them, that time he felt dreadful as being enslaved was much worse than death itself as they were deprived of their every right, unbeknownst to them, a change happens..."

"The enslaved person gained a system which was the same as what the Chosen had, through that, they could become stronger like the chosen! Starting then, common people almost beg the chosen to enslaved them but of course they chose who to beg from." Troy ended then looked at Adam's reaction

Adam was somewhat baffled at this revelation, it was not mentioned on news about World of Luck on Earth before.

'Maybe because slavery was a hard topic to discuss on a liberated country like that on Earth.'

Still, Adam thought that it was somewhat disadvantageous for the chosen to enslave someone as he didn't gain that much, unlike the other party.

He was soon answered by Troy which said that it's actually fair somehow, and besides once enslaved, the master could easily kill the slave with just a thought, and once a slave died, there was no inconvenience brought to the master.

Unlike this, once the master died, the slave would die as well. So it was fair somehow.

The other gain a new power, with others gaining a new 'pet'.

Adam felt uncomfortable with the idea of slavery so he vowed not to do it unless necessary.

Of course, Troy and gangs didn't beg Adam to enslave them as they also didn't like the idea of slavery...

After a while of silence, they then began sleeping on their bed and slept comfortably...

Adam was woken up by the sound of an alarm clock (magic-powered), it was still in the middle of the night and he had set the time on exactly 11:00 pm as for the reason? It's simply because tonight would be the end of his skill Extreme Luck's cooldown.

While waiting for the last-minute cooldown, he first recalled his decision earlier... and called for his starter pack...
