Leo caught her by the shoulder, worried by her sudden reaction.
"Iris... are you okay?"
"Wait," she said softly.
Leo withdrew his magic from the circle he had created, his expression serious. If this tree was truly the World Tree, there was something he needed to ask.
"If you're really the World Tree, then I have questions for you," he began, his voice filled with unrefined anger.
"Why did you lock her up? Why did you dethrone her? You appointed her, didn't you? Is it your will to bring her down again?"
Leo's words grew sharper, fueled by his frustration.
"It's been a full 200 years. She's had to live ten lifetimes to endure those 200 years alone in this dark, damp, empty space," he continued.
"Explain it properly before I burn it all down," Leo said, his anger barely contained.
