The World Should Burn
Lilly stood in front of a enormous majestic golden palace, looking at her hand from which grey dust was falling off to the grass below. She continued to look at it and then marched inside the place without a care.
Many restrictions and Rune Formations of highest levels were placed around the palace but none of them worked. Wherever Lilly passed, there would be a faint glow as if something was going to appear but then nothing would happen. The glow would disappear like the Rune Formations in the Palace.
Soon, she reached the entrance gate and entered after the gate glowed for a moment. There were no guards, after all, who would dare to attack the Imperial Palace where the Imperial Family resided?
However, Lilly didn't care about all that. She just continued to walk in a fast but steady steps inside the great hallways of the palace. Her face held a unusual melancholy expression as the thoughts of her family members passed through her mind.
