4 [Chapter:4][Flowing time]

"Haah…it's done."

Al sighed in relief as he stretched his back.

Looking at the result of his work, land covered in vibrant green in which he had to touch each and every last plant to make sure his 'Old Farmer' perk took effect, he smiled.

"That's it for this harvest."

Four years had gone by since Al had been reincarnated in this familiar yet unfamiliar world.

"Truly…reading about something an experiencing it are totally different."

He chuckled at the thought before he heard faint, yet distinct sours from the village.

His senses, greatly enhanced by his cultivation, let him hear things from several tens of meters away.

Looking at the source of the voice, two adorable little girls making their way towards him appeared in his view.

"Brother Al!"

"Come for breakfast!"

The two identical twins were the only girls in the village who were the same age as him. Behind them, four little boys with bright and innocent smiles followed.

"Yue'er, Yan'er, are you done with your studies?"

Since he had been born in this village, how could he not improve it? Even though he probably wouldn't come back too often, living in a village where only the village chief knew how to read and write was too much for Al to handle.

So among the changes he made Old Jack bring about were prompting education. And with there being only nine children in the village including Tang San and Al himself, it wasn't that hard either.

"Yes! We're done!"

"Brother Al! Come quickly!"

"Today Aunt Meng!"

"Cooked your favourite!"

The two twin sisters completed each other's sentences, something which Al had introduced to them as something funny before the two liked it too much to stop.

"Brother Al!"

"Come!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming, no need to drag me."

Al chuckled as the two adorable lolis each grabbed his arm and dragged him towards the village.

'Fours years went by so quickly…'

Looking at the village which slowly appeared in the distance, Al couldn't help but sigh softly.

((You did quite well in the last four years.))

'And yet I didn't get a single RP.'

((It would be too easy if you got RP so quickly.))

Ella chuckled softly in his head, making him sigh again.

Through the years, with her quite literally being in his head 24/7, Al was sure if she were listed in 'Relations', her Affection towards him, as well as his own affection towards her, would have been maxed out a long time ago.

((Aww, you like me so much? I'm touched, Al.))

Al rolled his eyes at her dramatic sentence, knowing she just said that to cover her embarrassment.

Looking at his 'Status' which wasn't that different compared to four years ago, he couldn't help but sigh.

'Peach Blossom Art…truly, although I don't like how it makes me look 'beautiful', other than that, I'm very satisfied with this skill.'

To mention why he was satisfied with the skill, one must first now what 'learning' a skill meant with respect to the System.

Did it mean smile mastering a skill? No, what the System meant when it said 'learn' a skill is…

'For four years, my Spirit Power had been constantly flowing and strengthening according to the skill.'

Continuous use of the skill. That was what 'learning' the skill meant.

In other words, for four years, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 60 minutes an hour and 69 seconds a minute, Al's Spirit Power had not stopped flowing according to the 'Peach Blossom Art' even for a single second.

'Really…other than making me feminine, there's literally nothing I can be dissatisfied with this…'

He heard Ella chuckle as Al sighed.

Peach Blossom Art, a technique which was exclusively for women to practice, and men who practice it would slowly yet surely become women, as at one point, their gender would literally change.

Luckily for Al, the System helped him in avoiding that horrifying fate, so the only side effects of the skill was, well, becoming 'beautiful' as he mentioned before.

Looking at the description of the skill, he couldn't help but sigh for the nth time.

"Brother Al" "What's the matter?" "Why are you" "sighing?"

"Oh, it's nothing.", Al chuckled as he raised his arms to ruffle their hair.

"Ah!" "Don't!" "It took so long" "to comb our hair!"

"Hehe, let's go. We shouldn't keep Grandpa Jack and the others waiting."

Shaking his head, Al shook the thought out of his mind as the three kids joined up with the four boys waiting for them half way to the village.

""Big Brother Al!""

"Little Yi, Little Si, Little Wu, where's Little Er?"

In Chinese, their names literally were 'Little One', 'Little Two', 'Little Four', and 'Little Five'.

Why were they given such ridiculous names, you ask? The reason for that is because in the name of the protagonist, Tang San, 'San' stands for 'Three'.

And Al had the splendid idea of making Old Jack name the four other boys in the village other than himself and Tang San as such. Of course, their parents didn't like it, but after some persuasion from the old village chief, they decided to go with the suggestion.

'Man I still can't believe they agreed…poor boys, you'll never know a half year old baby decided your names…'

Al still felt funny at the thought, but forced his laugh down as he smiled.

"Big brother Al, Little Er is still in the village."

"Right right, today is the yearly harvest festival that the Village Chief created, so Little Er is trying to bring brother Tang San out to play with us."

"Oh, he is? Well let's go then! It isn't everyday Little San comes out of his house."

"Yes!"

The seven children, five boys with one looking exceptionally cute and two adorable little girls who still held the cute boy's hands close to their flat chests as if afraid he'd run away, quickly ran towards the village.

Of course, Al made sure to run slowly, as four years of continuous, non-stop usage of the 'Peach Blossom Art' skill, regardless of how little it affected his physique, still made him stronger and faster than an average adult.

'Still not enough…'

Al frowned in thought. After all, in other fanfics, the protagonists could even achieve godhood in just four years. Yet he was barely as strong as a level 10 Spirit Master, and he would still lose if said Spirit Master used their Soul Ring.

'Wait a second, Ella, can't I…'
