Lost Memories

Haruto's POV

I returned to my room and took a nice hot bath that relieved the exhaustion I felt after training. Once I was done I got ready and headed to the dining hall. Once again I expected Lucy to do something unexpected but to my surprise, we just talked about my training and how to improve my form while eating the delicious breakfast which resembled western style food. I was grateful for the cooks and the maid who served it to us, making a mental point to meet them once soon and hopefully convince and teach them to make Japanese-style food that I had started craving.

Once we were done, Lucy asked me to accompany her to the library once again and follow her I did. She had been carrying a thick and tattered book around her arms ever since we left and it had been sitting on the table while we were eating breakfast too. I knew what it was of course, the infamous journal, at this point, even I was dying to read it.
