"Uhh, I apologize for my clumsiness".
He looked at me for a few more seconds and just walked away. I couldn't help but turn around to look at him. Even his view from behind was amazing.
But I immediately shook all those thoughts off my head. I was only interested in getting a fake boyfriend for a day. Admiring him was good enough and I was done doing that.
I went to the bar to get a drink but just then, a man that looked like he was in his late thirties came over to me.
"Hello beautiful, I've been admiring you for a while now".
He wasn't bad looking but he definitely wasn't what I was looking for. So I decided to ignore him.
The good-looking man who just got ignored didn't like the idea at all so he smiled in a way that showed his dissatisfaction.
He stood up from the chair close to the bar and went back to his seat where other guys were seated.
His friends were laughing at his angry face but he didn't make any response and just kept drinking.
After what felt like hours, I got tired and I couldn't find Cassie anywhere so I knew she was already off with a man. I took my purse and left the clubhouse.
I wasn't seeing any taxis so I decided to take a walk to the closest bus stop. That way, I could even save more money.
While walking, I noticed someone was following me. When I turned around to see who it was, I realized it wasn't just anyone, they were about four guys and the guy I snubbed was part of them.
Instinctively, I took off my heels and began to run as fast as I could. I wanted to make sure I ran to a place where there were a lot of people before they could get to me but unfortunately, the bar was pretty far from the road.
"Hey you, you better stop running while I'm still asking nicely".
"Catch her, don't let her escape".
"You better stay still so we can go easy on you".
I heard them say as they were chasing me.
'Stay still my foot, I'd rather faint than stay still'.
I knew this kind of men and I knew that if they caught me, I'd be done for.
Just when they were about to get any closer, I saw a car parked on the other side of the road and with all the faith I have, I prayed that it would be opened.
It was also a dangerous route but I couldn't think of any other way right now. I knew that if I kept running, they would definitely catch me before I got to the road.
When I got to the car, I tried to open the car and thankfully, it was opened. I got in and immediately locked the door giving a huge sigh of relief while the men outside kept banging.
I brought out my tongue and tilted my head left and right as though I was making fun of them even though I knew they couldn't see me.
When I turned to look at the other side of the car, I gasped and even though I tried my very best not to scream, I couldn't hide the fright and surprise that was visible on my face.
'Holy molly, what is he doing here, don't tell me I got into his car. Sh*t why him of all people'.
I said this in my mind while closing my eyes and squeezing my lips tightly.
I check outside the window and it appeared that the men following me had finally left. So I bowed toward the man in the car.
"I apologize for the inconvenience".
I said and was about to get down when I heard him speak.
"You are the same lady from the club right?"
I turned back to see him but he wasn't looking at me instead, he was so focused on his tablet that I could only see the side of his face and even though his god-like face looked extremely cold, he didn't look angry at all.
"Ehm...ehm yeah. I'm really sorry for inconveniencing you like this".
He finally raised his head up, away from his tablet but he didn't look at me. He just looked directly at his driver.
"Start the car".
He said and we were on our way to God knows where.
"I'd like to get dow..."
"Where do you stay?"
He asked totally cutting me off.
"Ehm, you don't have to..."
It was at this moment that he finally looked at me and just that made me completely speechless.
"Where do you stay?"
This time around, he sounded much more firm and I could already tell that he wasn't someone who liked to repeat himself.
"Windsworth channel, the second street".
His driver immediately changed the GPS location and we were off to my place.
When we finally got there, I thanked him and turned to leave but just then, something came to my mind.
His car was about to speed off when I went in front of it spreading my arms out like a crazy woman ready to hug a car in motion.
The driver quickly matched the brake of the car and when I noticed the car had stopped, I went to the window of the handsome guy and knocked. I didn't know if he could see me or not but I waved my hand as though asking him to get down with a smile on my face.
After a few minutes, the door to the driver's side opened up and the driver came out.
"You can go in now, he is waiting".
I know he was a driver but he sure looked pretty strict.
I got into the car and the first thing I heard was "you have two minutes".
'Easy dude it's not like I'm going to take all the time you have to live'.
He looked at me and I was scared I actually said what I said out loud.
"What do you want?"
He asked
"Well..."
I didn't know how to say it but I knew he wouldn't give me a second chance.
'What could I possibly stand to lose, the worse that could happen is that I'd never get to see his face again'.
"I want you to be my boyfriend".
