I Failed My Reincarnation, Now I’m Thrown Into a Game World

#Yandere #Obsession #Bloody #Manipulation It was a known fact. Everyone would enter the circle of reincarnation upon their deaths, eventually forgetting their own memories before starting a new life. It was their libration. Alastor knew that, and when he was faced with either being caught and tortured or jumping down, he decided the latter. As much as this life meant for him, Alastor knew he wouldn't be missing much. His potential was too great to waste on this life. However, something went wrong. Once Alastor opened his eyes again, he had to arch his brow in disbelief, “What the heck is the meaning of this?” A floating shadow formed a holographic screen in front of him, with clear words written there on it, [Welcome, Player Alastor! Unfortunately, something wrong happened and your reincarnation had failed. However, now you have a chance to play in our glorious world, Esme!] Alastor had many things running through his head, especially once he noticed the additional line at the end, [Esme Game is going to start in 29:23:59]

Alastor left with Vian side by side, Evan was also with them. He kept throwing curious glances at Vian who had a pretty gloomy face, but mainly he was scolding Alastor.

"How could you recklessly make your opponent stronger?? Are you a retard?? Seriously, Alastor!"

Alastor was silent, just a small smile dancing on his lips. Which irritated Evan more.

"Do you even take your life seriously?? I'm starting to doubt that, do you want to die early?"

"Relax," Alastor finally responded, patting his friend's shoulder, "I have no plans to die, though, if I did die, at least I was enjoying myself. You get me?"

No, the face that Evan made was surely an annoyed face that stated clearly, 'No, I don't get you!'

Vian on the other hand stayed silent, she felt an itching feeling in her hands whenever she remembered Kristin's attacks on Alastor.

She took a deep breath and sharply glared at Evan.

"Would you mind calming down and stop scolding Alastor?"

Despite the wording clearly being of a request, Evan felt like it was a warning. He gulped and playfully made a surrender motion with his arms up.

"Sorry there, but as you can see, he is too reckless."

"It is fine."

"Hmm?"

"Alastor is not going to die as long as I watch him," she said, surprising Evan and causing Alastor to smirk, "And everyone who hurts him is going to suffer…"

Alastor wrapped his arm around her waist, whispering softly to calm down and let this matter go.

"Shh, everything is okay. Let's forget it?"

He almost cooed, who knew his manipulation would work on this little girl so quickly? No, he should not overestimate himself. What made this work was not his small manipulation act, although they may be some sort of additional push.

'I suppose getting this much damage is worth it.'

Yes, no matter how crazy Alastor was about entertainment, there was no way he did not know how much his body could handle.

And yet, he pushed it over the limit. Which was clearly a stupid move for someone as smart as him.

Worshiping entertainment did not make him fear death, actually it made him want to live more, to enjoy more, then have a meaningful death. Dying at the hand of some teenager did not pass as that.

The real reason behind Alastor's recklessness was that he noticed how worried Vian was at him.

Perhaps a little push could make her fall deeper?

That was his main thought.

He pushed himself, showed how she could lose him, and also showed how he was strong enough to survive despite that.

Alastor was portrayed as a perfectly balanced man that Vian could consider as her partner. In various meanings…

Vian was truly shocked by the scene of Alastor's heart almost being pierced. Not only did she not pity the dead Kristin, she could not wait till she could get her job done with that punk.

She regretted choosing that filthy man as Alastor's opponent, yet she knew he was the perfect target for Alastor.

The conflicted feelings she kept feeling almost threatened to give her a breakdown.

The three eventually reached Alastor's room.

"Now, let's start slowly. Now, Alastor is now going to rest. Evan, right? You need to come with me."

Seeing how Vian was giving the orders, Evan looked at Alastor to see any kind of reaction. To his surprise, Alastor obediently laid down after cleaning his bloody appearance.

'...This fucker?'

Evan's gaze screamed that, making Alastor chuckle as he mouthed something, 'You need to compromise for a lady.'

Swallowing his bitterness over the thousands times he had demanded Alastor to rest and not hurt himself, Evan nodded.

The two then left Alastor alone in the room, and Alastor finally wiped the smile off his face.

He was feeling pretty exhausted for once, it made no sense for him, he did not feel this way even when his father almost made him use his entire mana to create fire balls.

This body was still very weak… His head was bloody, and his body as well. Although he had wiped most of the blood, he was still in a terrible situation.

Despite that, Alastor could hide it easily. It was his speciality, after all.

Pulling himself up from the bed, Alastor groaned in pain. He removed his clothes one by one, noticing that he got hurt more than he thought. The Iron Mana was able to cause his body to look as if a cat had attacked him.

In addition to that, he could feel an immense pain once he caressed his rips. Thankfully, it was only cracks from what he could observe.

Only god knows about his head, though.

But an ugly gash was already there hiding under his bangs, he took a wet towel and tried to clean it up, hissing at the pain.

After all of that was done, he wore some light pants and laid back in bed. His head was hurting him now that everything had ended.

'Maybe a nap is going to help me,' he sighed.

Just as he was about to sleep, he felt his door being opened. His face almost scrunched up, but then he remembered that it may be Vian. She had the extra keys, after all.

To his surprise, the presence he felt was different. It was of someone he thought he would not see for a while.

'What is Arisa doing here? Is she angry and coming to scold me?'

Come to think of it, she did send him a warning before about his relationship with Vian. And there was also the warning for Evan.

Remembering that warning, Alastor was tempted to trap this princess down and deal with her, but she did something that made him stop.

She sat on the side of the bed and hugged her knees, Alastor was unable to see her face, but he could generally sense her body's movements.

"Hey, I didn't stop supporting that girl… although, in a fit of anger, I did tell them to cut the funds, but I quickly took that message back."

Arisa fiddled with her shirt, she was unsure whether Alastor was awake earlier. But now he seemed asleep, since he gave no reaction to her.

Heaving a sigh of relief, she started checking his body and frowned.

"Such a dirty mess…"

The princess quickly used her chant, summoning her magical book. From it, she used a healing spell that ran through Alastor and healed his injuries.

Without saying anything else, she just left while mumbling, "Whatever, he will realize I didn't cut the support once he receives no news about them being cut."
