Chapter 27: Trapping Spider!

"We are surrounded! We're done for!" 

"We are going to need a distraction. Lumine, can you stall them for a minute."

Lumine nodded, she went forward and created a mini-tornado temporarily blocking the sight of all the guards. Using this opportunity I equipped the Zero-one driver and took out the Trapping Spider Progrisekey.

[Territory!]

[Authorise]

The grasshopper appeared in front of me and made a growling noise but it wasn't the only one. A giant purple mechanical spider was hanging in the ceiling and was slowly coming down. Its eight bright yellow eyes surveyed all the guards making them tremble and it gave a loud screech

*Screech!*

"Waah! A giant spider, Paimon is scared!"

"Wha-What is that!" said one of the guards in fear. 

"Th-This is going to give me nightmares…" I guess seeing a giant monster in front of you looking like is going to eat you going to be pretty traumatic

"Henshin!"

[Progrise!]

[Impossible to escape!]

[Trapping Spider!]

[No one can escape its web]

The grasshopper soon formed into the Zero-one base form before the face plate split to the sides and turned upside down. The upper chest plate moved to my forearms making gauntlets with a hole to shoot some projectiles with and the bottom chest plate moved up. The spider then wrapped itself around me before turning into streams of data forming new armor plates. The face plate was purple with yellow-green eyes with a darker shade multiple and small white eyes around it, resembling a spider. New armor plates are formed in my shoulders, upper arms, chest, and legs as if a spider leg wrapped around them. This was Kamen Rider's Zero-One Trapping Spider form.

"So this is what the armor looks like, amazing!" I admired my form a bit as this was not seen before even when the original series was running. I was not able to continue though as the guards snapped out of their confusion

"What are you all doing! Get them before they all escape!" One of the guards said who seeming was a higher-ranked making the rest run to us trying to capture us

"Sorry, but we are not getting caught today! We did not even steal the lyre."

I aimed my gauntlet at the nearest guard coming and out came webs from the gauntlet. The web wrapped around the guard making him stumble to the ground unable to get up and break free from the web. I did this again to a few more guards ending up in the same situation as the first one.

"Wha-What is this!? I can't get it off me! Are these webs!"

"I'll immobilize them. You two run to the staircase and exit the church I will be right behind you. Just make sure not to hurt them too much when a guard is on you. We don't really want to upset Jean too much after this."

"Um" Lumine nodded and ran through the opening the guards had

"Hey! Wait for Paimon."

I webbed one of the pillars and pulled myself into it. I landed standing on the pillar. It seems I can stick to any surface. I webbed one of the guards and threw the other end of the web to the ceiling pulling the guard and making him hang in the air. I did the same to a few more guards.

"Get the man in the armor! He is going to be the hardest to deal with. If he is gone we can get the rest!" said the leading guard

"I'm sorry gentlemen but you are not going to take me down that easily."

I jumped towards a guard grabbing his back and sticking to it and landed behind him. I threw him overhead of me onto a group of guards. The guards tried to catch their fellow knight but they all got knocked over. I webbed them up in a pile making them unable to get up

"This is impossible…" said the leading knight

I webbed him and threw him onto a nearby pillar and shot another web making him get stuck in the pillar

"Sorry, we got better things to do, bye!"

"Get back here you thief!"

I shot a web to the ceiling and began web-swinging to the staircase. I climbed up faster since I could stick to any surface and just saw Lumine and Paimon exit the church meeting up with Venti. I web-swinged towards them and landed right behind them

"Jun you made thank goodness you are safe," said Lumine as she was concerned for me

"It was nothing those guards will be stuck for a while. This is our chance to escape."

"Okay, follow me you three." Venti jumped off the railing and we see him fly using wind currents. Lumine used her wing glider to fly using the currents Venti made. I followed using my web and was web-swinging through Mondstadt behind them. It was a good thing the sun was still not out meaning a few people only noticed our escape. Venti led us to Angel's Share and we all went inside to hide. When we entered we saw a man with red hair and the bartender talking

"Master Diluc, this is this week's accounts."

"Hmm... The disaster has greatly affected business."

"Well, let's hope it all ends soon."

Diluc's hair is tied in a low ponytail.

Diluc wears a black dress shirt, a long white vest, a black ascot with a red gem, a black coat with fur trim at the bottom, black dress pants, a strap on his right thigh, cuffed black boots, and a pair of black gloves. His Vision is attached to a belt. Diluc is also one of the many characters you can play as in Genshin Impact. He is also a friend I recently made when staying in Mondstadt
