Chapter 02: Rising Hopper!

A group of hilichurls suddenly appeared in front of me. I have seen them a lot in-game but in real life, they are a lot more imposing especially if their target is you

"St-Stay back," I said as I took a step back in fear

"Biat!" the hilichurls roared as they got closer to me

I was getting scared not knowing what to do then I suddenly remembered what I was holding

"Right, the driver. I hope it works."

I placed the Zero-One Driver on my waist and suddenly a belt appeared around my waist with a *click*

[ZERO-ONE DRIVER]

I looked at my system and searched for a progrisekey and found the Rising Hopper. It is a rectangular device with an image of a grasshopper with a yellow-green color and a transparent casing. The words displayed are RISING HOPPER with the ABILITY: JUMP

I looked at it with a mixture of fear and excitement. I pressed the button and scanned it on my driver

[Jump] [Authorise!]

A giant yellow mechanical grasshopper appeared in front of me jumping around and hitting some of the hilichurls

The hilichurls were surprised wondering what this thing was and I was in awe looking at it jumping around

With its presence, a feeling of resolve and excitement is growing in me. My eyes narrowed as I focused on knowing what to do next. I flipped open the progrisekey revealing the skeletal of the grasshopper and inserted it into the driver

"Henshin!"

[Progrise] [To-bia ga rise!]🎶 [Rising Hopper!] 

[A jump to the sky turns to a Rider Kick]

A holographic suit of armor appeared in front of me and it then wrapped itself around me forming a black body suit with red lines

The grasshopper then turned into a stream of data creating armor plates on my chest, legs, and head. The helmet resembles a grasshopper with red eyes. The armor has a yellow color scheme covering the head, chest, back, and legs. This is Kamen Rider Zero-One the first Rider in the Reiwa Era

"Amazing… I've really become a Kamen Rider! This is a dream come true!" I said excitedly while looking over my entire body

While I was inspecting myself the hilichurls came out of their surprise and suddenly started to charge at me. Seeing them coming I stopped fanboying and prepared myself

"I don't even get a tutorial like Aruto!" I said as I panicked and realized I didn't seem to have the full support of Zea unlike Aruto the user of the Zero-One driver in the series

"Well, I just got to do this. Ikuze!"

*Insert Kamen Rider Zero-One OST Zero-One, sore ga Ore no Na da!*

I ran towards the hilichurls roaring a battle cry to psyche myself up and once we reached each other I started punching them.

*Smack!* *Pow!* 

The hilichurls that I punched staggered back feeling more confident each second I started becoming more aggressive knocking out more hilichurls. A hilichurl archer aimed at me and took a shot, having just noticed the incoming arrow I jumped up on instinct but my jump height was several meters high

"This is too high!"

As I landed back I didn't feel any pain

"Amazing… this is too awesome!"

I looked at the hilichurls and said "Well let's put these to good use."

I jumped towards the hilichurls reaching in the blink of an eye, leaving trails of yellow streams, and started kicking them. They quickly become defeated in quick succession until only one hilichurl still stands.

"Let's finish this."

I pressed the side of my driver giving me a burst of power. 

[RISING IMPACT!]

I took a stance and a glimpse of an image of a mechanical grasshopper leg appeared in my feet. I jumped towards the hilichurl moving even faster and kicked it towards the sky launching it up in the air. I jumped up even higher than the hilichurl and kicked towards it.

*End OST*

The hilichurl exploded and once I landed I skidded on the ground but I twisted my ankle and tumbled and crashed towards a tree.

"I can't believe I had to end up like Aruto. This is not cool!" I said before collapsing from exhaustion.

…

A few moments later

I stood up having recovered enough and I began to process everything that happened in the past few moments.

"I can't believe what just happened to me."

I arrived in the world of Teyvat, became a Kamen Rider, and fought a group of hilichurls.

"This is straight out of a fanfic story. Anyway, what should I be doing now?"

I folded my arms and began to think about my next course of action.

"Let me check more on my system first."

I began to check the details of my system thoroughly. How much do I have, what can I get, what are the rates, and so on.

 [Rider Standard Banner - Has all the main riders and equipment available to summon in the specific series] (Currently Zero-One world)

[Rate-up Rider Banner - The rate-up character has a 100% chance to drop when a 5-star is pulled. The banner will rotate to a different rider of the same series every 3 weeks.] (Currently Zero-One duration 3 weeks)

[Rider Power-ups - When unlocking the same rider multiple times, the user will be able to unlock the boost cores of the rider. Using the boost core will unlock the rider's new form gaining new power]

"Hmm, it looks like the UI from the game and the rate-up character or should I say the rider right now is Zero-one. It's nice I can get the rate-up rider when I get a 5-star and there is no 50/50 nonsense but…" I said sarcastically knowing it was too good to be true

"There is no pity system and the rates are even lower than Genshin…" I sighed despairingly "Haa… what's more I need to pull more copies to unlock the better forms and even if I do get them it does not mean I can immediately use them dammit!" 

Some riders get so OP in their final forms as is the case of Zi-O his final form is Grand Zi-O in the series he can summon any rider and their equipment in the Heisei era while also controlling time. Heck if Zi-O's banner does appear Grand Zi-O might not be his final form but it might be Oma Zi-O which is even stronger. 

"I at least got enough for a ten-pull from the gift, the 3-stars could help my situation and not starve while the 4-stars could help me be stronger"

I used all of the primogems I got from the gift package on the Zero-One rate-up banner. The animation looks the same as in Genshin but instead of a shooting star, it is a rider doing a rider kick.

"Yes! I at least got the Attache Caliber. I can now slash at enemies instead of just punching them to death."

Satisfied with my pulls I put on the clothes I got instead of my night clothes. I'm now wearing a plain black shirt, light blue slacks pants, black & white shoes, and a red jacket with blue accents. 

"It's a good thing I don't have to carry around my items as the system has its own inventory and now where am I"

I looked around to see if I knew where I was in Teyvat and I soon saw ruins of a temple.

"I could see a temple and that must be the Thousand Winds Temple. If I recall, near it is a road that leads to Mondstadt and I should be able to go by a statue of the 7 on the way, maybe I could get anemo powers like the traveler." 

"Yosh! That sounds like a plan, let's go!"

Now with a plan, I walk towards the temple looking for a road with renewed spirit.

Somewhere in the woods

"Hmm? What was that." said a girl with a red headband looking similar to bunny ears.
