Lex got slightly distracted looking at the items on display but then remembered why he had come here. Shaking those thoughts off, he passed the hall and entered a corridor with stairs leading upwards.
He remembered the Dean's words and began climbing the stairs. Ignoring the thought of exploring the second floor, Lex finally reached the third floor, where he found a room.
The room's door was open as if inviting someone inside. Lex walked towards it and stood before it. He would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous about meeting the Dean.
Not to mention that the Dean was powerful; he also remembered the matter with Gwendolyn. What if she was calling him for that?
He couldn't think of any other reason someone as aloof as the Dean would summon him.
Now the question was, would she be hostile or not? If she wanted to kill him, she could have done so easily, then why was she calling him?
