"Oe Bhide! What are you thinking?"
Jethalal asked a clearly distressed Bhide, but Bhide didn't seem to hear it.
"Jetha bhai. A woman came today to buy a flat. Maybe he is worrying about that?"
"Oye Bhidu! Jethalal is asking something."
Sodhi smacked Bhide's back, and Bhide winced.
"What are you doing Sodhi!"
"Bhidu, I heard that someone came to buy a flat? Why are you in tension then?"
"Oh that! I was just in tension because of payment. It's weird that she will pay it all in lump sum. It's 25 lakh(2.5M)."
"Doesn't that mean that she is simply rich?"
"And that's not all. I went to the police station today to enquire about her. She has a 3BHK flat in a society just 4km away. It's in her card as well."
"So what's the problem?"
"She's a freelancer and investor. I didn't quite get what this profession is."
"Oh Atmaram. I know about that."
Iyer piched in.
"I heard from some of my friends that freelancing is something IT professionals do often. It's a job you can do while sitting in home over a computer. And investor is like, err-"
"I know that. You give money to business in return of some percent of it."
Jethalal told everyone.
"So why are you in tension anyway? Isn't this good that she will not delay giving maintenance cheque, unlike certain someone?"
"What do you mean, Iyer bhai?"
Jethalal glared at Iyer, and he just shruggee.
"Why are you getting angry Jethalal-"
"Both of you, calm down! And let Bhide explain."
Taarak diffused the situation before it could escalate, knowing that Iyer and Jethalal are like Ice and Fire.
Both of them did a "hmph!" and turned to Bhide.
"What's the problem anyway?"
"She seemed to be wanting to move here. If she has a 3BHK flat not that away from here, she doesn't have an office that is near here, and she seemed to have a trusted maid that she gave her keys to, why would she want to move here?"
"Hmm... Well, why don't we just ask her tomorrow?"
Mehta said while shrugging.
"Yeah Bhide. Why tire your mind in useless things."
Jethalal shaked his head. Bhide and his Chapli-ness. As expected of a tution teacher.
"Well, some people have minds to tire it out, Jethalal."
"IYER BHAI!"
