6 My Fiancée

"No need. I want to talk to Min Yue right now." Li Ruyan said, ignoring PA Ren's attempt to calm her.

The woman in red pursed her lips. "Yue, is this one of your flings? She is acting so desperate. Doesn't she know that you're already engaged to me?"

"CEO Min, what is the meaning of this?" CEO Yang frowned, glancing at Li Ruyan with disdain in his eyes.

Min Yue furrowed his brows and placed a hand on his temple as if there was an incoming headache that he wanted to avoid experiencing. Exhaling loudly, he turned to Li Ruyan. He seemed to have decided what to say to her by now.

Li Ruyan knew the look in his eyes. It meant business so she also straightened herself, prepared to hear what kind of words he was about to say to her.

"Li Ruyan, this is Yang Shiwei, my fiancée. Miss Yang, this is Li Ruyan, my ex-girlfriend in university." Min Yue gestured first to Yang Shiwei then to her.

Li Ruyan was stunned.

Yang Shiwei chuckled. "Ah, so it was like this. She's your ex-girlfriend in university." Yang Shiwei emphasized the word 'university' which meant that they were history ago and had broken up a long time ago which meant that Li Ruyan acting like this was very shameful.

" Miss Li, you and Yue have already broken up. In case, you didn't know, Yue is my fiancée. We got engaged three months ago. Also, this is my dad." Yang Shiwei, the woman in red gestured to the tall businessman who had given Li Ruyan a look of disdain.

"You probably don't know him but he is the CEO of Yang corporation."

Yang Shiwei said this as if she was looking down at Li Ruyan.

Who did not know the Yang corporation? They were one of the few big fishes in the business circle. Li Ruyan had heard her boss telling her that they were people that they could afford to offend but the damage would be big to the company so that it was best to maintain an amicable relationship with them.

Li Ruyan could already imagine her boss' face when she tells her that she seemed to have made an enemy of the CEO of that very corporation. Ah, but her boss would probably just deduct her salary for two months and prevent her from taking any more day offs to get back at her.

He was nice that way.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Yang and CEO Yang." Li Ruyan responded in a cordial manner but her eyes weren't very kind when she looked at the two. Her pride was going to kill her but she could not stand the idea that her Min Yue was doing this to her.

Yang Shiwei's lips that were painted in red sneered. "Miss Li, I suggest that you leave. This is such a perfect night for me and my fiancée to spend our dinner with my dad. We wouldn't want any disturbances on such an memorable day."

Li Ruyan raised a brow as if saying, is that so?

Yang Shiwei greeted her teeth, not knowing how Li Ruyan could still maintain her composure when it was obvious that she was already humiliated by her words alone. Li Ruyan understood Yang Shiwei's message.

She was telling Li Ruyan that she was a person that had caused disturbance on their perfect night.

Li Ruyan unhurriedly turned her gaze to the man that had just proclaimed that she was now his ex-girlfriend after their four-year relationship. Ah, it didn't even reach four years since he broke up with her today.

"Min Yue, is this your answer?"

"Li Ruyan, you are being annoying. If you want a peaceful life, leave, now." Min Yue warned her and she could see his gaze that was as ice cold as the winter breeze during a December night. Li Ruyan's chest ached in response, her hands trembling at his answer. She clenched them together and smiled at him.

"Min Yue, you don't love me anymore?"

Yang Shiwei scoffed. "Miss Li is really so desperate."

"CEO Min, is this how you show your sincerity? You can't even properly cut ties with one of your whores. This is highly discourteous! My daughter does not deserve this kind of treatment!" CEO Yang remarked unkindly as he looked at Min Yue with a displeased expression before turning to Li Ruyan.

"You loose woman, if you want money, don't pester my future son-in-law. He is my daughter's fiancée and not someone that a lowly woman like you can have connections with. I don't know how you got here but the guards must be blind. They allowed a beggar in!"

Li Ruyan might not look like she was affected by his words but deep inside, she was slowly losing it. No one had ever called her a whore before, let alone a beggar.

"Dad, calm down. You have an image to maintain." Yang Shiwei reminded, fixing her father's tie that had wrinkled when the man was disgruntled.

"Miss Li, I think you are a smart woman. It is best for you to leave unless you want to humiliate yourself further. If Miss Li persists, people might think that Miss Li is a third party trying to ruin my and my fiancé's engagement. Miss Li is so beautiful. Instead of a soon to be married man, there are other people that would be a best match for Miss Li. PA Ren is also good-looking."

PA Ren was put in a difficult position. No. He did not want to be in a relationship with Li Ruyan. That was simply asking to be killed. The boss might not even spare his bones if that were to happen.

"Miss Yang, are you a fortune teller?" Li Ruyan chuckled lowly. "I didn't know that Miss Yang is another Yue Lao and can even decide which people are good together. Miss Yang sounds so sure of herself so I might as well take her offer and give Miss Yang some face."

Li Ruyan smiled at PA Ren, who suddenly have a bad feeling and was sensing danger befalling his way.

Li Ruyan calmly held PA Ren's hand and leaned closer until they were eye to eye.

"PA Ren, are you coming home with me or not?"
