Chapter One Hundred and Eighteen: Maternity Leave

After pondering for a moment and reminiscing what had happened for the past few months, Haneul looked down and caressed her bloated stomach as she smiled warmly and heaved a sigh.

'I can't believe this… I'm gonna be a mother.'

Right as when the Empress was having her quality time with her unborn baby, Haneul heard some faint steps and an appetizing smell coming on her way. The Empress was certain that it was her husband.

Shortly after, the Emperor popped up right before her eyes and smiled with a tray of food in his hands. "Han-i, I'm back."

The Empress then eyed the tray of food and saw a covered bowl and some chopsticks and a spoon on top of the bowl. She was certain. That it was the Kimchi that she was craving for as her stomach responded with a growl. "I can smell it from here."
