Hence, without any second thoughts, the Empress swiped the curtain so that no people could see what's going on in the room. She then positioned herself at the corner of the room, facing the closed door as she pulled her invisible bow and two arrows and sighted it in the said direction.
A minute or two, Haneul could hear faint footsteps that were towards her location. The light taps on the wooden floor became heavier and heavier until they stopped right in her door.
Gripping the bow and arrow, Haneul waited for them to slide the door open and completely enter the room. And so they did, together with Ari.
Haneul felt relieved as she could see that Ari was unharmed. But this does not change anything. When the two of them were busy looking for the Empress, Haneul then swiftly released the two arrows as she stared at them intently as if controlling their direction.
