Dr. Bio-Tech stumbled upon Frankie in a dark corner of the slums, his body battered and bruised from a beating at the hands of a group of thugs. The doctor's heart ached at the sight of the young boy, huddled in a corner and covered in cuts and bruises.

"What happened here?" Dr. Bio-Tech muttered to himself, as he approached the boy cautiously. "Who did this to you?"

Frankie looked up at the doctor, his eyes filled with fear and pain. "Please, help me," he whispered, his voice barely above a whisper. "They were going to kill me."

Dr. Bio-Tech's heart went out to the boy, and he knew that he had to do something to help him. He approached the thugs, his eyes blazing with anger.

"What do you think you're doing, beating on a child like this?" he said, his voice cold and hard. "Have you no shame?"

The thugs sneered at the doctor, clearly unconcerned with the boy's welfare. "Mind your own business, old man," one of them said, as he took a step toward Dr. Bio-Tech. "This little thief was trying to steal our food."

Dr. Bio-Tech glared at the thug, his fists clenched at his sides. "This child is hungry," he said, his voice filled with disgust. "What kind of monsters are you, that you would beat a child for trying to survive?"

The thugs laughed at the doctor's words, and one of them took a swing at him. But Dr. Bio-Tech was no ordinary man, and he easily dodged the punch and landed a swift punch of his own, sending the thug crashing to the ground.

"Leave this boy alone," Dr. Bio-Tech said, as he stood over the thug, his fists at the ready. "Or you'll answer to me."

The thugs hesitated for a moment, clearly intimidated by the doctor's strength and determination. But then, one of them lunged at Dr. Bio-Tech, and the fight was on.

As the doctor battled the thugs, Frankie watched from his corner, his eyes wide with amazement. He had never seen anyone stand up to bullies like that, and he couldn't believe that someone was fighting for him.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the thugs lay defeated at the doctor's feet, and Frankie was safe. Dr. Bio-Tech turned to the boy, a look of concern on his face.

"Are you all right, child?" he asked, as he helped Frankie to his feet. "Did they hurt you?"

Frankie shook his head, tears streaming down his face. "No, sir," he said, his voice trembling. "Thank you for saving me."

Dr. Bio-Tech smiled at the boy, his heart filled with compassion. "You're welcome, child," he said

Dr. Bio-Tech took Frankie back to his laboratory, his heart filled with concern for the young boy. He examined Frankie carefully, checking for injuries and assessing the damage that had been done to him.

As he worked, Dr. Bio-Tech couldn't help but feel a sense of outrage and disgust at the way the boy had been treated. He had never seen anyone so badly beaten, and he couldn't believe that anyone could be so cruel to a child.

"He's got a lot of broken bones," Dr. Bio-Tech said, as he examined Frankie's ribs. "And he hasn't eaten in a long time. He's severely malnourished."

Frankie looked up at the doctor, his eyes filled with fear and pain. "Will I be all right?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Dr. Bio-Tech smiled at the boy, his heart filled with compassion. "Don't worry, child," he said. "I'll take good care of you. You're safe now."

He called one of his assistants to come and help him, and together, they patched up Frankie's injuries and cleaned him up. They gave him a warm bath and some clean clothes, and then Dr. Bio-Tech led him to the long table in the kitchen, where a feast of delicious food was waiting for him.

Frankie's eyes widened at the sight of the food, and he couldn't believe his good fortune. He had never seen so much food in one place, and he couldn't wait to dig in.

Dr. Bio-Tech watched as Frankie devoured the food, his heart filled with joy at the sight of the boy's pleasure. He knew that he had done the right thing in saving Frankie, and he was glad that he could give him a little bit of happiness after all the suffering he had endured.

"Thank you, sir," Frankie said, as he finished his meal and wiped his mouth. "That was the best food I've ever had."

Dr. Bio-Tech smiled at the boy, his heart filled with pride. "You're welcome, child," he said. "I'm just glad that I could help."

As Frankie drifted off to sleep that night, he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of Dr. Bio-Tech. He knew that he would always be grateful to the doctor for saving him.

As Frankie drifted off to sleep that night, he couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity about the kind doctor who had saved him. He had never met anyone like Dr. Bio-Tech before, and he wanted to know more about him.

"Dr. Bio-Tech?" Frankie said, as he lay in bed, his eyes fixed on the ceiling. "Can I ask you a question?"

Dr. Bio-Tech looked up from his work, a smile on his face. "Of course, child," he said. "What is it?"

Frankie hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to ask his question. "I was just wondering," he said finally. "What's your name? I mean, what do people call you?"

Dr. Bio-Tech chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, child," he said. "My name is Dr. Bio-Tech. But you can call me Doc, if you like."

Frankie smiled at the doctor, his heart filled with warmth. "Thank you, Doc," he said. "And what about me? What's my name?"

Dr. Bio-Tech hesitated for a moment, his brow furrowed in thought. "I'm not sure, child," he said. "I found you in the slums, and you didn't have any identification on you. Do you remember your name?"

Frankie shook his head, his eyes filled with sadness. "No, sir," he said. "I don't remember anything about my past. It's all a blur."

Dr. Bio-Tech's heart went out to the boy, and he knew that he had to do something to help him. "Don't worry, child," he said, as he patted Frankie on the head. "We'll figure out who you are. And in the meantime, you can choose your own name. How does Frankie sound?"

Frankie looked up at the doctor, his eyes wide with excitement. "Frankie," he said, testing the name on his lips. "I like it. Thank you, Doc."

Dr. Bio-Tech smiled at the boy, his heart filled with joy. "You're welcome, Frankie," he said. "Now get some rest, child. You have a lot of catching up to do."

As Frankie drifted off to sleep, he couldn't help but feel a sense of hope and excitement about his future. He knew that he had a lot to learn, but with Dr. Bio-Tech's help, he was confident that he could overcome any challenge.

A few years passed...

Dr. Bio-tech stood in his laboratory, staring at the young boy lying on the table in front of him. Frankie was just a teenager, but he had already undergone a series of genetic modifications that had given him enhanced physical and mental abilities.

As the war raged on outside, Dr. Bio-tech knew that he had to leave Frankie behind and flee the castle. But he couldn't bear the thought of leaving the boy to die, so he had to come up with a plan to keep him safe.

"I can't just leave him here," Dr. Bio-tech muttered to himself, pacing back and forth in the lab. "He's still just a child, and he's not ready to face the world on his own. But what can I do?"

He glanced over at the array of machines and devices that filled the room, searching for an answer. His eyes landed on a small vial of serum that he had been working on, a serum that could put a person into a state of suspended animation for an indefinite amount of time.

Dr. Bio-tech knew that the serum was untested and risky, but he also knew that it was Frankie's only chance at survival. He grabbed the vial and approached the boy, speaking softly as he prepared the injection.

"Frankie, can you hear me?" Dr. Bio-tech said, trying to rouse the boy from his slumber. "I'm sorry, but I have to leave you here. There's a war going on, and I can't take you with me. But I'll be back as soon as I can, I promise."

Frankie's eyes fluttered open, and he looked up at the doctor with a confused expression. "What's happening?" he mumbled, still half asleep. "Where are you going?"

"I have to leave, Frankie," Dr. Bio-tech replied, his voice heavy with sorrow. "But I won't leave you alone. I'm going to give you a special serum that will put you into a deep sleep, and you'll be safe here until I return."

Frankie looked up at the doctor, his eyes pleading. "But I don't want to sleep," he said. "I want to go with you."

Dr. Bio-tech's heart ached at the boy's words, but he knew that he had no choice. "I'm sorry, Frankie," he said, as he injected the serum into the boy's arm. "But it's the only way to keep you safe. Sleep now, and I'll be back for you soon."

Frankie's eyes closed, and he fell into a deep sleep, his body entering a state of suspended animation. Dr. Bio-tech watched him for a moment, tears streaming down his face, before turning and fleeing the castle, leaving Frankie behind to sleep for 500 years.

As he left the lab, Dr. Bio-tech couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt and regret. He knew that he was leaving Frankie in a dangerous and uncertain world, but he also knew that it was the only way to keep him alive.

"I'll come back for you, Frankie," Dr. Bio-tech whispered, as he made his way out of the castle. "I promise."
