CHAPTER 8: Roses grave (side story)

There are two kingdoms that were tied with a red ribbon and shared a friendly bond with each other but the red ribbon was suddenly cut for the two kingdoms due to political dispute of the two kings. The two kingdoms battled each other, many blood had been shed, many live were taken, but out of all the chaos that have been happening two hearts had been tied. Both the prince and princess had fallen deeply in love with each other.

Both of them would sneak out of their kingdoms and go to a rose field, where both of them would share their love with each other, but that sweet innocent love that they share for each other won't last for long like other people. One night the parents of the princess was brutally murdered in there own room. Of course this news reach the princess, she's devastated by this and her uncle had comforted her through out the grief. She contacted her lover but he didn't never write back, a few days had pass and there is still no reply from him. The investigation of her parent's murders was already stated, ordered by her the new queen of the kingdom.

A few weeks had pass and he did not write back, not even once. Few more days had pass and the news of her beloved lover was already betrothed to someone else. This news shattered her into tiny pieces and had fallen to grief again but there was also anger arose from her heart. She now mostly focusses on the investigation on her parent's murderers and running her kingdom.

She found tiny but of evidences that led back to her lover killing her parents, her anger turns into rage and she immediately got all of her best knights to raid the kingdom, many blood were shed than the war between the two kings. She ordered the knights to find the royal family of the castle and bring back to her. She killed his parents in front of her eyes and her fiancé as well, the prince didn't say anything and he just look at her with pure sadness in his eyes, tears coming out like a fountain but no words came out. He closed his eyes and awaited his death by the hands of his own lover and with the swing of her sword it was done. All of the royal family were killed by her hands.

She walks to her old lover's room, she doesn't know why, but her feet had brought her there. She found a diary on the side of his bed. She started to read it, most of it was about them, but the last page of the dairy hurt her the most and made her shattered in tears. What was written in the dairy is how her parents tried to threaten him into killing her if he were not to marry the woman that they had picked for him. He was sent into his room lock up and to be fed until he agreed to marry girl. He had starve for days and he could not take it, he planned to marry the girl but before their wedding he planned on killing himself, he couldn't bare to marry someone that is not her and the diary ended.

A knight came inside the room with a maid that he had brought. The maid confessed out of guilty that she had saw the murderers that had killed her parents, it was her uncle. She said that her uncle threatened her that he will kill her if she speaks about what she had saw that day, but her conscience would not let her eat not sleep, so she quickly came to find her and tell her what she had saw. Everything, everything she had done to her love, killing him and blaming him, thought of him betraying her was all nonsense now, she ordered her knights to kill her uncle and give the throne to her kind aunt. She was now in despair what she had done.

She ran away from her knight and went into the rose field where she felt like she was free from all of it and with her sword she piers her heart and took her last breath. Now her soul will be forever trap on the roses, never to leave it.

Legend has it that the rose she was in was transferred to another place, but no one know where it was.
