"I Don't Like You."

"I'll ask just one last time, do you like me?"

"I-"

Xie Mingze laughed as he snapped back to reality, he was daydreaming again. Did he had another hallucination because today is Hao Muyang's wedding? Still the hand that touched his cheeks was strangely vivid, like it really touched his skin. 

Taking a sip of the red wine on his hands he watched as the newly wedded couple cut the cake. It was one of the few days he felt blue, he was always satisfied watching from afar, but now only bitter feelings was felt in his chest.

'It feels stuffy.'

He hit his chest for a while wishing to forget for a moment.

"Why are drinking alone in this dark corner?" A tall person leaned on the wall beside him. 

"We are not that close to have a conversation." If this person could get the hint from Xie Mingze's voice then he would leave immediately, but since he didn't ,he stayed still. "If you keep on furrowing your eyebrows then everyone would think you're their evil mother-in-law."

The man who kept talking nonsense beside Mingze was Fen Yichen, his childhood friend and the one Mingze hated the most. Since he is a dunce when it comes to all this sarcastic remark he kept sticking around him.

Xie Mingze stopped his urge to roll his eyes at him. Still, he doesn't have any energy to fight him. He is tired, his first love just got married and he was utterly heart broken. Xie Mingze had been gay for as long as he can remember, but no one was aware of his sexual preference except his family and maybe his childhood neighbor Fen Yichen. 

How Yichen accidentally found out is a story for another time. 

"Stopped drinking, you'll damage your throat."

"Does it matter? Just for today let me drink, you're not even my manager."

A sigh escaped Yichen's lips as he grabbed the glass from Mingze's hands.

"Do you want to cause a scene here? I'm not your manager, but I do recall my family paying for your scholarship in the university." 

Once again he was reminded about the fact that his family is supporting him, Xie Mingze can't even grieve the lost of his first love because of Yichen. He grumbled and crossed his arms in annoyance. 

He just can't get rid of Yichen and its annoying him. His family is reach so he could always play around, he even switched to his major and kept him from hanging out with other students. His family sponsors his studies, but he is not his slave.

"You have practice after this. Don't drink anymore"

'Always treating me like this!' 

Sometimes, Xie Mingze imagined himself pulling Yichen's hair and then pulling it so hard he became bald. Bald that people would think twice to crush on Yichen. 

"If you don't have practice you can come and write my notes for me." 

"Yes, yes, I'll write it for you later."

Somebody tapped Mingze's shoulder and he saw the groom and bride roaming around greeting the guest. His eyes lighten as soon as he saw Hao Muyang's face. He tried to not make it too obvious that he was happy and greeted them with a small nod.

"Thank you for coming Mingze, I'll give you a red packet on your graduation."

"I can't believe you got married as soon as you graduated, you must really like sister-in-law."

Xie Mingze teased the couple and even nudge Hao Muyang. It felt like he was playing a charade by himself. He kept laughing mechanically, but nobody seems to notice the unhappiness he was hiding deep within his heart. 

"Congratulations on your wedding senior."

Hao Muyang was surprised to see Yichen's face on his wedding, he did not expect this junior of his to attend. He thought he was not interested when he coldly rejected the invitation he had given before. Still, he did not bother asking why he went anyways.

"I'm glad you two made it. I thought for sure you wouldn't be able to attend." 

The woman in the white dress keep smiling all the time, she knew this two was the junior of her husband and remained listening as she did not know what to say. 

After a few minutes the two of them left, there are still a lot of guests and they can't stay and talk to them for too long. Xie Mingze want to reach out and pull his senior to talk some more, but a jacket fall on top of his head stopping him from his silly actions.

"Carry my jacket and come with me, it's time to go and write my notes back home."

Xie Mingze gritted his teeth and glared at Yichen. He was forced to carry his jacket like a servant and leave the venue to write some stupid note for his arch enemy.

"You didn't get to eat anything, let's drive by the convenient store first and buy some snacks. For sure you're going to stay up late."

The driver looked at us through the rear view mirror, Fen Yichen waved his hand and ordered the driver to go to the nearest convini. Meanwhile Xie Mingze could only sigh, he wasn't even given the time to cry. All he can feel right now was the raw feeling of anger towards Yichen

In the convenient store, Xie Mingze was stuck in front of the hotdog station, torn between picking the normal one he usually order and the new variation of meat and crab hotdog. It was something he had never heard before and wanted to taste, but he could only eat one hotdog sandwich so he was contemplating in front of it.

"What are you doing there?"

"I'm deciding whether to buy my usual or go for the new variation."

Fen Yichen grabbed both of it and paid at the counter, then he presented it in front of Xie Mingze as if he was tired of waiting.

"Just take a bite of each one and pick the one you like the most."

"I can't finish both of them." Mingze complained while furrowing his eyebrows.

"I know, that's why you pick what you want to eat after tasting, then I'll eat the rest for you."
