Chapter 59: Black and White Zetsu
Not far from the battlefield, on a hill, a man with a one-eyed mask and a black coat observed the ongoing conflict. Standing beside him was another figure, Zetsu, wearing a red cloud suit with peculiar features like aloe vera protrusions on both shoulders, divided into white and black halves. This unique-looking man was a member of the Akatsuki organization.
Uchiha Natsu, leading the Uchiha Clan on the battlefield, was closely monitored by the masked man, Uchiha Obito, as confirmed by Natsu himself. Obito's right eye, under the mask, housed three Tomoes with a scarlet pupil emitting a faint glow.
Zetsu, peering down at the battlefield, couldn't see the details due to the distance, and inquired, "That kid won't be killed, right?" The concern mirrored that of Itachi Uchiha, Natsu's close associate. Though the specifics eluded their vision, they knew Itachi faced the five-tailed Jinchuriki, a formidable opponent capable of a complete tail-beast transformation.
Obito, after a moment of silence, remarked, "Although Itachi has high talent, he hasn't grown up yet." His attention then shifted to Uchiha Natsu, and he added, "However, now there is another person who interests me."
Referring to Natsu, Zetsu asked, "You're talking about that, Uchiha Natsu?" Despite craning his neck for a better view, Zetsu's perspective made the battlefield seem like ants beneath an adult.
Obito nodded, expressing suspicion, "This kind of situation shouldn't happen. How did he become so strong?" Obito, having knowledge of Natsu from their school days, found the sudden surge in Natsu's strength inexplicable.
Zetsu retracted his neck, turning to Obito, "Then do you want to take him as a target?" Obito, gazing silently at the battlefield, responded, "I still don't know if he has a chance to awaken that power. But I will go down and deal with the five tails to prevent the two of them from dying here." With that, Obito resumed his watch over the distant battlefield.
Down below, witnessing Uchiha Natsu engaging in conversation with the Hyuga Rena, Han grew furious. Ignoring him, Natsu continued chatting, prompting Han to unleash the full power of the tailed beast. His form expanded into a huge white beast with four horns and five tails—a complete transformation.
A deafening roar echoed as Han asserted his newfound confidence, and the sheer power emanating from him sent shockwaves across the Kage-level battlefield in the distance. Uchiha Natsu, sensing the transformation, turned his attention, a slight frown on his face.
Recognizing the dire situation, Hyuga Hiashi wondered if it was all over. Even his plan to eliminate them might not suffice against the overwhelming power of the fully transformed tail beast.
Reacting swiftly, Uchiha Natsu initiated the Shadow Clone Technique, creating a clone beside him. The two clones coordinated, employing the massive Rasengan. A massive circular hollow formed above Han, followed by two Rasengan crashing down.
The impact pressed Han beneath the ground, shaking the earth violently. Uchiha Natsu, after successfully subduing Han, dispelled one of the shadow clones, retrieving the returned chakra. Utilizing this chakra, he formed a wooden clone to maintain balance, ensuring neither clone surpassed the main body in the chakra.
The new wooden avatar, taking on the appearance of Akira Senju, masked its features under the wooden escape technique. Uchiha Natsu strategically positioned the wooden clone away from his main body, maintaining equilibrium in chakra distribution.
While the attention of those on the ground was fixed on Uchiha Natsu's tactics, the question lingered—would it be enough to subdue Han's fully transformed tail beast? Hyuga Hiashi, nervous and sweating, knew that defeating Han at this level might be an insurmountable challenge.
