Chapter 40: Katana

Enduring the pain in his back, Yotsuki Kiyoi quickly stood up. The blood on his back gurgled, forming a pool of bright red on the ground. The fourth Raikage had already notified the cloud-hidden teams on various battlefields about Uchiha Natsu.

If they encountered Konoha ninjas capable of using multiple shadow clones and Rasengan, they were to avoid them. Simultaneously, Fourth Raikage should be notified as soon as possible, and he would handle it himself.

The electric lights crackled, and the momentum was like a rainbow.

The Uchiha clan members in front of the door formed seals simultaneously and shouted, "Fire escape, Great fireball jutsu!" Several fireballs of different sizes merged into one and blasted towards Yotsuki Kiyoi, who had turned into lightning. "These brats!" Being blocked, Yotsuki Kiyoi could only try his best to change direction, firmly stepping on the ground with his right foot.

"Boom!" With a muffled sound, a large pit was directly stepped on the ground under his feet, and the earth and rocks exploded. Yotsuki Kiyoi himself had successfully changed direction, dodging the huge fireball, and flew to the left. There, it was guarded by the Uchiha Itachi team in the direction of the side door.

Uchiha's fireball remained undiminished, colliding with twenty Rasengans and bursting immediately. The powerful shock wave engulfed the Uchiha clan members who were performing ninjutsu and took a few steps back. But Yotsuki Kiyoi fled, and the Uchiha clan didn't chase him anymore. They were all badly injured, and if they chased forcefully, they would likely be killed in return.

Relieved at their victory, the Uchiha clan members couldn't help but look at Uchiha Natsu and his shadow clone. Without Uchiha Natsu, they would all have perished here.

Uchiha Natsu's shadow clones didn't pursue him but went to the corpses of the hidden ninjas, took out scrolls, and began sealing the bodies. The large number of shadow clones made the corpse-sealing process swift. After a while, all the corpses were sealed.

The shadow clones gathered, and nine of them handed over the scrolls to the same person before releasing them. Only one shadow clone remained, putting the scrolls into his pockets one by one. Several ninjas wanted to step forward to help, but Uchiha Itachi stopped them.

"This is Senior Natsu's work; we shouldn't interfere," Uchiha Itachi said, understanding that Uchiha Natsu was accustomed to handling corpses. The two subordinates nodded and retreated.

After sealing the bodies, Uchiha Natsu's remaining shadow clone came to the ruins and stood beside Uchiha Asgari. "Let me help you take a look at the injury." The shadow clone squatted down and used medical ninjutsu to press its hand on Uchiha Asgari's chest.

Uchiha Asgari's expression was complicated. Until now, he had finally believed what Tiehuo had said was true. It was ridiculous how stubborn he had been. Even if he had allowed Uchiha Natsu to participate in the battle earlier, things might not have reached this point. His usual strength and sternness had diminished in front of Uchiha Natsu.

Not long after, Uchiha Natsu's shadow clone withdrew its chakra and said lightly, "The injury is serious, but fortunately, it has been stabilized. Let's go back to Konoha for treatment."

Uchiha Asgari struggled to get up. "I can still fight, so I don't need to go back to Konoha."

"With me here, you're not needed anymore. Don't you want to go back?" Uchiha Natsu glanced at Asgari, stating it matter-of-factly.

Asgari was speechless for a moment. Although he opened his mouth to refute, he ultimately remained silent. "All right."

In the Uchiha clan, aside from the patriarch Fugaku, no one had ever dared to speak to Asgari in this tone. However, when it came from Uchiha Natsu, there was no room for argument.

Tiehuo watched from the side, dumbfounded. His father's usual sternness and strength unexpectedly disappeared in front of Uchiha Natsu. "As expected of Senior Natsu, he easily did what normal people couldn't do," he thought.

While Uchiha Natsu's shadow clone was rectifying the battlefield in the town, Yotsuki Kiyoi fled outside the town, reaching the edge of the forest. "Where did this terrifying guy come from?
