I am Drax Vasiliev, the son of Dylan Vasiliev. It may be obvious from the surname but Dylan Vasiliev is the head of the Vasiliev Mage Tower, the 105th ranked among the publicly known Mage Tower groups.

It was quite pathetic compared to how many groups were ahead of us but when I was born my parents found hope. I had the potential to lead the mage tower among the top 100.

I was even accepted into Gold Coffin Academy. Other than that I am quite average in looks, status, or money compared to my classmates.

My face looks generically average with brown hair and basil eyes just like my father's.

If there is something that would make me special...I look at a floating transparent green screen with neon yellow text engraved.

What was special was that I had a system of sorts. And yes, I am a reincarnator. It took some time of getting used to since I found myself being born inside of a baby but I had to make do with what I had.

As someone who watches anime, and reads manga and manhua, I was horrified at what is to come in the future. Honestly, I went through the internet here and saw a video posted about a rank-8 mage battling against a rank-8 cultivator. It was both a wonder and a breath-taker.

Because I was a son of a mage, I got an aptitude test on my talents and received an aptitude for two rare elements: lightning and metal.

I also had personal training in magic theory and made... below-average progress. The magic spells all have different patterns and they seem to also function like equations.

As someone who is both bad in both memory and math, it was a miracle that I understood the lessons. Maybe it was because of the natural mana in the air nourishing my growth over the years.

Since I was still a child, being able to memorize some spells made tagged me as gifted. Unfortunately, some gifted children could also do the same. Talk about being inborn nerds.

I started growing exponentially 2 years ago when I awakened my system. This system levels up based on my proficiency. As long as I keep using my skill/spell then it will level up.

Every 10 levels I get on a skill/spell, I get 1 Class Point. CP is used to level up my Classes. Classes have different effects and help me in many ways.

[Mage]

Type: Class

Description: The path taken by those who seek the control of phenomena, mana. They seek to understand its mysteries and embark on such research using the tools they made from their understanding, spells. Spells are but a means to their end goal, the attainment of a sage.

Effects:

Every 10 levels is a rank. 1-2 is the early stage, 3-4 is the mid-stage, 5-7 is the late stage, and 8-10 is the peak stage.

+5% to Magic Spells at every level.

[Combat Mage]

Type: Class

Description: A job where a mage embarks and specializes in Combat Magic. The job tries to find the epitome of magic that defeats an opponent whether an individual or a group.

Effects:

+5% resistance to current Spell Resistance at every level.

+5% to Combat Spells at every level.

[Lightning Mage]

Type: Class

Description: A job where a mage embarks and specializes in the branch of Lightning Magic. The job tries to find the epitome of magic that controls the energy of electricity and electrons.

Effects:

+5% resistance to current Lighting Resistance at every level.

+5% to Lightning Spells at every level.

[Metal Mage]

Description: A job where a mage embarks and specializes in the branch of Metal Magic. The job tries to find the epitome of magic that controls the very structure of metals.

+5% resistance to current Metal Resistance at every level.

+5% to Metal Spells at every level.

Now unto how much it costs to level them up. It takes 10 CP to level up the Class from Lvl. 0 to Lvl.1.

Then it takes 1 CP to level it up from Lvl.1 to Lvl.2 and so on.

Once it reaches Lvl.10, It will cost 20 CP to level up the Class to Lvl.11.

Then it takes 2 CP to level it up from Lvl.11 to Lvl.12 and so on.

Once it reaches Lvl.20, it will cost 30 CP to level up the Class to Lvl.21.

Then it takes 3 CP to level it up from Lvl.21 to Lvl.22 and so on.

This pattern kept going for all Classes so far.

For 2 years I kept spamming lots of spells to level them up but the higher their proficiency goes, the harder it is to level up.

Recently strange things have been happening. Rumors spread about an arrogant student who tried learning different subjects. It would be understandable if he were someone very talented but it was the opposite, he was just a 3-Star talent.

It could be that he was overconfident or he was purely curious since he is a mage. It wasn't my business though so I just kept searching the library for spells I could learn and use. It was also a routine for me to spam magic at night to exhaust my mana and strength.

Another strange incident that caught my attention was the battle between Lin von Shiraki and Vasco Petrov. When I heard them shouting at each other I swear that this looked like a cliche xianxia protagonist plot.

What made my mind truly confused was the music being played while the battle happened. Who played that? I remember hearing that song before!

But... how did this song get into this world?!

It was highly unusual, maybe someone coincidentally made the same song? But why would they make the song? And even play it here?

Too many questions with only a little amount of information.

I say to the system, "System, Is there a possibility of others like me from Earth?"

Honestly, if it weren't for the skill [Calm Mind] I would have panicked much more than this. Maybe I would be even too scared to fight against monsters too.

"Drax quit muttering! Monsters are coming!", A voice enters my left ear.

A blonde-haired kid talks to me. He is Prince Albert von Anderson, the son of King Edmond von Anderson. The king rules over the Cipher Kingdom.

"Don't worry Prince Albert. As your fiance I, Adalinda von Vermillion, will support you with my strength.", A girl with red hair whose hair is tied into a loose ponytail asserts. Her hair reached down and hangs on her shoulder. She has a modest and domineering aura around her.

"Y-yes, I will also support you with my Holy Magic.", Another girl adds in. She is Audelia Whitney who is a daughter of a baron. She has blonde hair that reaches past her waist and innocent sky blue eyes that makes you want to protect her.

Ignoring what Adalinda said, Prince Albert thanks Audelia, "Thank you Audelia for your concern, you can stay back and heal me while I do the damage." I feel disgusted by the clear bias.

Adalinda trembles.

I mutter, "F*cking Otome plotline. I bet my fortune that this prince thinks that Adalinda is after his money and status, how cliche."

This looked like a cliche otome plot so according to what I know about both Adalinda and Albert is that Adalinda is the daughter of King Edric von Vermillion. The Vermillion Household is the ruler over the Nil Kingdom.

If you haven't known, the Nil Kingdom was responsible for a coup d'etat almost succeeding. Apparently, the king at that time supported one of the emperor's 5th prince in killing the emperor and forcefully suppressing his competitors into submission. Fortunately, they failed to kill the emperor but killed the eldest prince, the next heir.

For such an act, the 5th prince was imprisoned to a slow death of torture... publicly. The Vermillion Household lost a lot of their territory and prestige but they kept their status after the Gala Empire discovered that only the Head of the Vermillion Household at that time was involved in the betrayal. Of course, the head was tortured and executed publicly.

300 years have passed and the current kings of the Nil and Zilch kingdoms agreed to reconcile their damaged close relationship and sealed it with an engagement.

And of course, Albert thought that Adalinda was after him only for the benefit.

"You should stop muttering to yourself. Your isekai identity will easily be found out.", A stern voice reached my ear. I was immediately startled after I processed what she said.

My pupils constricted and stared at a beautiful girl with long black wavy hair reaching her waist with red scarlet eyes staring right through my soul.

"Y-you!", I was about to say something but then...

*Smash*

A 30 [Carnivore Flowers] appear and are smashing around with their vines.

"Kaitlyn, restrain them!", Adalinda says.

Kaitlyn Emerson stretches out her hands and the shadows beneath the monsters started moving and forming into a somewhat physical form. They became roped that tied these monsters down.

Psychics are OP.

Kaitlyn started sweating immediately. Restraining a large amount of these monsters took a toll on her Mental energy.

2 Star [Flash] and 2 Star [Temper]+ 2 Star [Shock]: [Shock Impact]

I dashed ahead and punched at several of these Carnivore Flowers.

Both Adalinda and Albert launch magic too.

Several fireballs fall from the air above Adalinda and beams of a light tear through from Albert's palm.

Audelia wasn't just standing still either. She casts a spell to help Kaitlyn recover her mental energy.

Soon enough we were finished with the monsters. I breathed a sigh of relief and caught my breath.

2 Star [Lesser Recovery]

Audelia healed my stamina.

I say, "Thanks."

She replies as she smiles, "Just doing my role as a healer."

Adalinda says, "You should learn some hand-to-hand combat. Although your magic was very effective, you still need to guide them to the right vital area."

I nod, "Yes, I noticed that. I was too caught up in spells and haven't had enough fighting experience."

Well, it didn't matter anyway, I already got [Boxing Lvl.1] as a reward for punching a monster into mush.

Adalinda then says, "I will go and scout the perimeter.", She then leaves.

We took a rest to regain our mana. I turn to Kaitlyn. We went to talk privately.

"How did you-", I was about to say something but was cut off.

"There are no filters when one mutters to their system.", Kaitlyn looks at me deadpanned.

I gasp, "Preposterous! It doesn't!", of course, I was joking but I also facepalmed myself inwardly for my stupid habit.

She kept staring at me...ok, so not into jokes...

"It's a habit I developed to help me go through my magic lessons.", I chuckle awkwardly.

She then nods. We're then left in silence looking at each other.

"Uh... how about you. You're also a reincarnator right?", I ask with curiosity. She didn't seem to be bad. She would have not made me aware of the situation if she wanted to do something behind my back.

"Specifically, I am a transmigrator.", She answers

My eyes lit up. Questions of curiosity fill my mind but I immediately washed them down.

If she's here then she most likely died. It's best not to question further.

"Anyway, It's nice to find an ally who I can team up with.", I raise my hand for a handshake. Albert asked for both me and Kaitlyn to join him and Audelia so we're only acquaintances so far. The prince asked those who could withstand the murderous intent of the headmaster. Adalinda joined out of concern for the prince.

She wouldn't have made me aware of her knowing about my secret if she were hostile anyway.

"AHHH!", A shout of pain resounds as I immediately turned and ran in that direction.

That shout was the prince's cry. He must be in danger. I need to show him my good side.

When I arrived I saw the prince being impaled on the shoulder by a branch that was in a shape of a scythe.

I beheld the appearance of a wooden plant the size of half my body. Its distinct feature was its protruding branches that act as its weapons. It was walking using its roots and its leaves covered it like a shield, concealing its crooked face made of bark.

Adalinda also arrived back but she couldn't cast any magic because of her destructive fire magic. It may burn the prince too.

With a burst of power, I arrive above the plant. I do a spin to build momentum for my next move.

2 Star [Reinforce] + 2 Star [Temper]: [Metal Enforce]

I send an axe kick as hard as metal down to the monster. The body broke away and cracked. It screamed as I split it in half. In the process, the monster lets go of the prince.

"Grah!", The prince groans in pain.

"Prince Albert!", Audelia shouts and runs toward the prince. She immediately casts healing magic.

2 Star [Lesser Heal]

"T-thanks Audelia. and you too Drax.", The prince says while laying down.

"Prince Albert!", Adalinda also came near the prince.

"How did that monster arrive here? I thought you were scouting around!", The prince is displeased.

"The plant monster looks like a shrub. We have passed by multiple plants like these already. It must have just been lying in wait.", Kaitlyn appeared behind me out of nowhere.

"!", I was startled but I soon calmed down a second later by [Calm Mind]

Albert just nodded and just closed his eyes to rest.

I sigh. I separated from the gathering and went back to the monster. Looting is a habit of a gamer after all.

I take anything that seems valuable. A big disadvantage that the system has is that it didn't have an analysis skill. I thought of developing one but I already tried identifying different items. No [Appraisal] or [Analysis].

I pick up the scythes of the plant and its leaves. Not only is it my first time fighting but it's also my first time gathering. I shall cherish the experience.

I sighed for the umpteenth time. My progress has been halted for staying in my spoiling father's home for too long. Not only does he not let me learn combat but he also wants me to just be a Scholar Mage instead of a Combat Mage. This unlimited potential is spoiled!

Years of weeb training wasted!

I went back to my group.

But what I saw was my group staring vigilantly at 2 new arrivals.
