So have you been training?

The training was over, and at that moment it was just Morrigan and Hirosumi. He rode in the rain, soaked, but he didn't mind, futilely covering Hirosumi's head with his brown rain cape. His attitude was so honest that the mare herself thanked him with random whinnies.

As he rode on, Morrigan seemed to feel a fervor in his chest, as if he were finally doing something he loved passionately. Giving his all, finding himself, it was important, and at that moment, it was as if he felt the right path for his new life.

The arrival at the inn where they were resting brought news. There were many people there that day, perhaps some sort of organization for future events. This intrigued the boy because, being new to that world, he could finally experience its festive customs.

With Hirosumi stabled and fed, Morrigan climbed up, completely drenched, water dripping from his body. He climbed up amidst sneezes and sounds of blowing his nose. As he stood in front of the door to his room, he sneezed and got distracted, seeing Goddess in front of the door, looking angry with one side of her cheek swollen.

"You're going to end up catching a cold if you continue with these self-destructive routines," she said, throwing a towel over him and dragging him inside. As he entered, being dragged without being able to see, he was seated on the bed, and she then said, "I have something to show you today, Morrigan!" she said happily, while he, still wet, tried to avoid sitting on the bed. "I'm going to end up making everything dirty, Goddess, I don't want you to have to clean up," he grumbled as he tried to avoid sitting on the bed.

"Let's take a bath, wash this rain off our bodies, we're both sweaty from training today!" she said with her hands on her hips, with a proud expression. And Morrigan then realized that she was indeed very dirty and worn out. "So have you been training?" he noticed as she dragged him to the bath, making him embarrassed.

"You really don't care about anything, do you?" he said, being dragged, as they entered. She sat on a stool and placed another one in front of her, tapping it twice for him to sit in front of her. "Come here and show me those hands," she said as he made his way to the stool, slowly removing his shirt, revealing a body not so muscular, but marked from the training, making Goddess's fingers fidget and her blush subtly.

"What have you been training?" he asked again as he showed his hands. They were very wounded and still far from healing, but Goddess brought her hands closer, closing her eyes. It didn't take long for the golden aura to begin to appear, and for Morrigan to feel his hair rise from the magical energy flowing into him. "Is this magic?" he asked, looking at his hand wounds slowly healing.

For a few seconds, both of them were glowing gold, and Morrigan's hand slowly healed until several marks of healed skin were left where the open cuts had been. She then opened her eyes and fell onto Morrigan's chest slowly. "Goddess!" he said worriedly as she opened her eyes after fainting. "You overdid it!" said Morrigan as she, still dizzy, seemed to ask, "How did it go?" She then looked at his hands, raising only her left hand intertwined with her own.

"It's been pretty restored, it's not perfect yet, but now I can help again," she said proudly of herself, still having helped him recover. "But you're still dirty, and now you have no energy to take a shower," Morrigan laughed with her as she fell on him laughing along with him. "I'll take a shower later..." she said still dizzy while he swallowed hard. "I can help you..." he asked without directly asking the question, and Goddess then answered by surrendering to him, falling onto him saying, "Yes, please..."

As he realized he was in trouble now, he stood up, reaching out to turn on the shower that would provide water for the tub. However, as soon as he turned on the shower, Goddess's body fell weakly into the tub. Part of it wasn't just physical weakness as she had shown before. Before she could actually fall into the tub, he lost his balance, falling onto her, letting the shower water fall on both of them, beginning to wet them even more. The deafening silence that was created between them made her gesture with her lips, closing and opening, with her eyes closed. It was an invitation...

Some time later... Morrigan carried the goddess to bed, leaving her under the covers. She was better, she was just being bought by all his chivalry after the bath. "Can we talk a little before bed?" Morrigan said, slowly putting on his shirt again and Goddess then said, "Why are you putting on clothes now?" he then with a few drops on his head asked, "What do you mean?" he then stared at her with still bright eyes and a slightly saddened expression. "The night isn't over yet, you can just lie down here..."

He then swallowed hard and took a deep breath, taking off his shirt again, throwing it into the corner of the closet, lying down next to her, both covering themselves with the sheets, and she sliding her arms all over his body until she closed them like a chain on the other side behind his shoulders.

"I have to do something dangerous soon, Goddess, so I imagine I'll be away from home for a few days... Would you mind?" The hug then hurt, she dug her nails into him, and asked in the silence of the darkened room, lit only by the white light from the bathroom. "If you die, I won't be able to revive you... and you'll have to deal with the fact that I'll like another guy at some other time... and forget about you..." As she spoke, he felt more and more pressure between his shoulders.

"What did you say?" he asked, forgetting everything else, while she silenced him with a kiss between his lips. He was totally bewitched by all that intoxicating aura, the goddess's eyes in the dark were as blue as a galaxy, she stared at him firmly, and kissed him with her eyes open so that he wouldn't take his eyes off her for a second. Goddess wasn't so willing to give up that friendship it seemed...

I hope you like it, I will maintain a rhythm of 3 chapters a week at least!
